I don't know anything about Lola or the Peter Guns series. I was born in 1961 and alot of her career was before I was born. From viewing this she was a very beautiful woman, and very talented.Even with three failed marriages, she had determination and kept going on in her life no matter what.

She really should have had a bigger career in movies!...She was a good-not great- actress, who had incredible, sultry looks and mannerisms..she knew the power of her sexy looks! But it sounds like she was a difficult, self-centered woman when it came to her personal life...Married three times, no kids--unusual for those times. Wonder if she might have liked the ladies too?...She acted with many handsome men, but married men who were not so attractive. My impression of her, is that she was very "career" minded, and did her best to work a lot in the industry. Living to age 92 is a remarkable achievement too...although it sounds like she was in pain after breaking her back. Time waits for no one, no matter how great-looking you might be, in your prime!

Lola was gorgeous. I was so sad when I heard she passed away. I finally viewed all of Peter Gunn in 2018. It was a wonderful series.
