Just changed mine. Barely had a rattle and was very dirty so hopefully changing it actually helps overall. Only hard thing about it was the fastening screw head stripped so had to persuade it with channel locks 🙃
06-08 pvc is on front left by dipstick in 09-14 its on other side of behind the oil fill cap and its tougher to get at with the coil rail in the way buts its doable just did mine was completely clogged
My hearing sucks. I couldn't hear anything at all when you shook either one of the valves. I'm guessing one made a rattling noise or something? Just to be clear: Should it be rattling or not? Is rattling good or bad? (Also, thank you for the link to this). Is there only one PCV valve in the Ridgeline? I was told by the Honda dealership that I need a "tune up" and PCV valve is in the list of things. Looks pretty easy at least. I'm writing down 10mil to remember. LOL. Thank you for this! I wonder if my 2013 RTL Ridgeline uses the same valve. Any links?
@@RenegadeHQ Ok. Good to know! I'll have to re-watch when my PCV valve arrives. Ordered that, spark plugs, and ignition coils after watching your videos. I really appreciate the info.
@@5borough6g your welcome. From my understanding most PCV valves are pretty simple to replace but I could be wrong. Best of luck and thanks for the support!
I feel lied to. lol My 2010 Ridgeline doesn't have one in that location. Can't seem to find one unless they deleted it for 2010? ok nvm find mine on the back side of the valve cover toward the intake side.
Pro tip. Find bump music without any percussion or fake percussion. That click click click….. why would you think people would find that to be pleasant

Great job! It should give you at least 50hp fixing that!

Do you still own this vehicle? How many miles on it ?
Technically I do, but o body swapped it and it’s a monster now hahaha. When I recorded the video there was 195k miles on it.
Every how many miles should it be replaced?
Thanks, nice video.
Thank you. They don’t give an actual mileage. I would say just went the computer says so haha

Rattling is Good. No rattle means it’s clogged up and won’t work properly. Only 1 PCV valve. Thanks for the support bro! Glad it helped!

💯💯💯
What symptoms did u have with the bad pcv? And what exactly improved after replacing it? I think I need to change mine
Don’t really know. Just heard I should, did some research and the part was cheap so I just did it.
@@RenegadeHQ fuck it I already ordered one so I’m gonna replace it 🤘
It’s way easy so you may as well.
I have a 2019, is this the same basic concept?
To my knowledge yes but I’m not real familiar with the newer ones yet. So I’m not the best source for that.
@@RenegadeHQ I hope I didn’t jump the gun,dealership wanted a lot. I just ordered the part.we’ll see.
Thanks for your video and quick response!
