Yoshiki is an honest, professional, kind, sweet treasure of a human being. Even insulting questions don't phase him. I hope to master that. And genius song writer. hide was a treasure too. Beautiful souls.
Living in Tokyo since the mid 90's....it a 1st to hear Yoshiki speak English....Very well indeed too....Had no idea about Toshi's cult story....Hide was a loss....he was a bone marrow donor before his death ....gave the gift of life to someone...I'll never forget the collective sadness in Tokyo of his passing...and not just his fans...
I love this interview. Mr Steve Jones makes Yoshiki smile a lot and it's quite rare. It covers a lot of topics and nice to hear Yoshiki's future plan in North America.
Wouldn’t necessarily call a band that’s consistently topped the charts in their home country with every single release “underrated”, my guy. I’m begging you, go out to a dive club punk show after this pandemic is over, there are a lot more actually underrated bands out there.
@The Saint I mean that's kind of the point I was getting at, yeah. But yeah, I mean, X has been a consistently good band while so many other bands from the west of that era...are kind of just wet farts.
Yoshiki's honest humor or curiousness I think gives room for his ability to take Steve's light-hearted blithesome attempts to 'get to know' the person or poke around very smoothly. He's open in general. I couldn't believe the honor of his follow from 2 posts I did last yr. no matter the serious dedicated topic. He's not one to over-assert the fast lane untouchable pace he can afford coming from a background of emotionally turbulent highways in his art/life - (not cliched like succumbing then crawling out of drug addiction) - from true interpersonal hardships or tensities. He's interesting to say the least. X to #XJAPAN at CHOACHELLA with (L) and not (R) but either is awesome. lol
Yoshiki that guy's talking about the Indian guru is Osho(Bhagwan) used to have a big ashram in Oregon, US. Yes, he was an amazing guy like a modern Buddha who were awakened. In 80's I was against him but I really like him and understood him now! I've been reading his books a lot in Japanese. By the way: Lady Gaga is reading his books and is loving them.*** so Osho is totally different than Toshi's cult guy!!

X Japan the most underrated rock band in the world.

Best drummer in the world awesome talent....
This was such a good interview. How sweet is Yoshiki not forgetting the wonderful Steve Jones.
Really informative! It's always interesting how people react to the dramatic story of the band. I learned some new facts from Yoshiki's answers, too.
Wonderful interview.
Love you guys x

15:21 😂
Big guys who wear the nappies... Lol.
Come on Jonesy :)
Toshi's brain came back but his money didn't come back.
Get Yoshiki on JRE
Omg that would be glorious
Dude, if I was Yoshiki I would ask the organizer to move a little bit back to rock on Beyonce shows, or at least playing something with her.
With Adele or Mariah Carey or Alicia Keys or Lady Gaga 💗💓💖. He deserves to be somwhere where BTS are right now or where Metálica IS.
Maybe this radio host should think about researching his guests before interviewing them.
Never heard of these people
He is a weird bird.
Your father is a weird bird because he didn't use a condom. Just shut up!
I thought it was a chick-until he spoke.
Mywork777 his age is the same as interviewer too
Yoshiki isn't an "it." He's Yoshiki.
