Romeo-SC is the first Eastman guitar to include a lipstick style pickup, via Seymour Duncan's Vintage Stack in the neck - in addition to a Seymour Duncan ’59 pickup in the bridge. This allows for an incredibly versatile range of tones that seduces the imagination from all genres. It’s also the first guitar in the lineup to feature a beautiful Red Burst finish, found exclusively on Romeo.
Staying true to the vision of a lightweight and ergonomically constructed instrument, Romeo-SC features a solid spruce top and mahogany laminate back & sides. Whether as a sideman or the main attraction, this guitar will allow for hours of playing without a trace of fatigue.
Romeo-SC expands the tonal palette of master luthier Otto D’Ambrosio’s highly acclaimed Romeo thinline. The singular vision of blending Nashville soul with Detroit grit into one versatile sound has led to a unique twist for Romeo that captures the ears, hands, and hearts of many playing styles.

You should know this video completely sold me on this guitar I found one for 1599 in mint condition used at guitar Center after searching around these guitars are kind of hard to come by partly because of the shipping and also I’m not sure if they’re still making this particular model, but it is certainly in my opinion the best one of the bunch Because the top on the Romeo LA and the Romeo NYC my understanding is those are veneer tops, so and laminate whereas this is a actual carved top certainly if it was at a Rondack, it would be better but with an electric guitar this certainly is fantastic but the tones you’re getting are just stupid good man excellent demo, and I have watched a lot of stuff demos. This is the best demo I’ve ever seen this guitar absolutely blows me away. I cannot wait to get it and I cannot believe the price, the Sound just shock me. I am so used to the ES 335. Truly amazing guitar great demo blowing me away. Going to get in touch with you guys to see if you have any of those T5 nines and Amber looking for one of those they’re still making those I’m sure but now I know you must carry the guitars not just demo them. Let me know if that is the case. Thank you. Truly in 40 years this is certainly one of the best guitars I have seen come along that’s a new concept. A lot of things are built on the old standards believe me I have a lot of those Gibson and heritage standards, but this is just the jazz box I was looking for with a whole Lotta blues and rock ‘n’ roll, and every other tone you could imagine thrown in. Congratulations Eastman. Sorry for writing the book. Thanks guys. 11:12

Hey, did a change in pick ups I think I mentioned in an earlier comment purchasing this guitar and loving it contacted you guys to see about ordering another one, but it seems this model is no longer available. It is the only Romeo that was made with the solid, spruce top and certainly the one I like the best for Sound. However, I bought a Seth lover and a vintage stack for my PRS satin Vella And honestly got pretty close results not quite as bright but the rosewood gives it a slightly different tone and certainly the solid, mahogany, well semi-mahogany body is unbelievable. Truly, I was surprised that Seymour Duncan did such fine work. I thought it was all guitar here but honestly they are right. It is beautiful and I love mine, but the Vella was about the same price and is certainly as well as the newer Romeos that are out because they are truly just laminate everything at least the Villa is solid, mahogany, back sides and top. If you can’t get the solid spruce truly why do they make something so damn nice and discontinue it. Thanks again sorry to keep commenting on this but I really love the guitar and wanted you guys to know how happy I am with mine. Thanks again. 11:12 11:12

Got mine for $1599. It’s a keeper. Covers a lot of ground.

It’s not completely hollow. There’s a small block under the bridge. Hence the sustain and resistance to feedback. Nice playing 👍👍

I had a chance to play a Romeo at Huber in Breese in Michigan. Great guitar and great guitar store. I played it alongside my Ibanez AM153. I really wanted to get that Romeo. To be honest the AM153 was every it as good as the Romeo. The 153 design may not be as beautiful. Eyes of the beholder but the sounds, playability and quality of build are on par. AM153 new $999, Romeo $2,499. Thought this might help someone make a decision.
