Excellently explained the useful function of the TL431, and calculations involved with clear samples. Thank you very much!!! I have subscribed, and liked.
Hi sir Nice to explain but I have one question regarding R1 in previous vdo u had sujjest VBE (0.7÷0.05) ,,how u select resistor value In ckt which value of v & i ,we have to consider when selecting the resistor.
videos are very rich and full of content and good references as well. only hard to follow up with the narrator and possibly if you use any of those AI speak programs will make it a more versatile and huge viewer as well. hope no offense was taken and no doubt the channel admin is a very knowledgable person.
Thanks.how can two transistor behave current limiting and voltage control.bd139 &2n 3055 .2ndly can we give ur circuit feedback to base of powerful transistor as higher current limiting? Hope for more details thanks again
Your comment is true. R1= 8 / { ( IL / hfe)+İka} R1=8 / 0.002 = 4000R .If the current flowing through the Tl431 is 1 mA, this value will be 4000 ohms. But I think the friend meant 100 mA in the formula.
Hi, i have a question, Does all three constant current regulator you upload here will reduce voltage receieved by load to achieve desired current? I want to keep the voltage same as input even when the load has less resistance and the current increases. Thank you

How you calcule R1=728 Ohms ?????? Because 8/((.05/50)+.001)= 8Volts/ 2mA= 4000 Ohms
Very informative video
Glad you think so!
Better to use opamp as feedback element for good current regulation and Low voltage drop.
Поздравляем, ты смог прочитать документацию на TL431.

Thank you so much for watching!! Please don't forget to subscribe to our channel
2.5v Supercap ko charging ke liye es circuit ka use kar shakte h kya ?
NICE CONTENT.................... EVERYTHING IS COOL. THANK YOU
Thank you so much for watching!! Please don't forget to subscribe to our channel
My friend simulation betiful.thanks👍👍
Thank you so much! Please show support to my video with Super thanks.
Very supportive 💓
Thank you so much, Glad you liked it!!
gud explanation keep it up sir 👍
Thank you so much for watching!! Please subscribe to our channel
Why do u you choose 2n3019? Is there an alternative?
you can take any BJT, that can handle the desired current, for example a S8050
May Allah bless you
Thank you!

are we have TL431 analogs with low Vfb? I mean approximately Vfb 0.5 V...

can it be used to drive 2A?

No. Yes
R1 should be 4k according to your calculation sir.

@@elektronikhobim6903 nope, the friend calculated with 10 mA --> 8 V / 0,011 mA = ~727 Ohm :-)
R1 should be 4k ohm according your calculation sir
Can it be used for 150 ma current
yes, it can. for R2 you take 3 resistors 47 Ohms in parallel, for Q1 a BD135 or BD137
there are some gain parameters for tl431 right. how you calculated
We don't need to calculate any gain parameters here, the TL431 is working as a comparator.
Can it be designed to drive 100 ma load
yes, it can. for R2 you take 2 resistors 47 Ohms in parallel, for Q1 a S8050
IS R1 IS4 KOHM?

Hi, i have a question, Does all three constant current regulator you upload here will reduce voltage receieved by load to achieve desired current? I want to keep the voltage same as input even when the load has less resistance and the current increases. Thank you
you need constant voltage regulator for that
please please what happens if you replace the bjt with mosfet
you can use mosfet as well!
What is a current limiter?
the resistor which restricts the current flow
What else to tl431
It is a programmable shunt regulator (zener diode)
