Have you ever use Southern polyurethane epoxy primer i find it to be great it's very durable and you can sand it so you can use one product for an entire restoration. I think you sbould check it out.

There's so many products now it's overwhelming. I like it simple scuff and clean the surface then use a light coat of etch primer in a rattle can. Gives a good base for everything to adhere to and it's simple.

That method definitely has simplicity in mind. It definitely doesn’t have the same bare metal protection qualities as using an epoxy and or a phosphate coating with an epoxy.

For these exact product you would have to reach out to a paint supplier for PPG. In our local area that would be painters supply.

How does the delfeet compare to the VP2050, not worried about cost just quality of product.

Vp2050 is a high build epoxy primer this is just a bare metal primer without high build qualities. And is superior to VP2050 as a bare metal protection
