Have never seen a player bé this good in all domains. Never disappoints and the calmest on the pitch, our little general Antoine is the best player I ve seen since Carter.
Antoine Dupont is an alien born in France:-) It brings together: game analysis, strategy, cooperation, speed, precision, endurance and strength... It’s all said. Thank you! :-)
Dupont is one of a kind player and will be remembered as such for a long long time. I see a lot of people complaining about the outcome of the 2023 World Cup's 1/4 final v SA. We should be more gracious. The Boks won period. It's nothing to be ashamed of. Rugby is a game where the ref should be respected, even if a decision or two doesn't go our way or is controversial. Referees have a big impact on the game but it's a pilar of our sport like the shape of the ball that can go one way or another.
J'ai connu l'immense Blanco gamin; Mais voir jouer Dupont, je pourrai le raconter à mes petits enfants lorsque je serai vieux, lorsqu'ils me demanderont "il était si fort que cela?".
Now that he won the olympics, the 6 nations, multiples top 14 and champions cup titles- Let's hope he will raise his level and get his team a momentum to gain a rugby world cup !
The loss to South Africa is still hard to swallow. Southern Hemisphere sides are so protected at international level, they get away with repeated murders France will never get away with. Normally when a team dominates in attack, that team is given the benefit of the doubt. Etzebeth deliberate knock on in front of his try line should have never been allowed and so many other infringements went unpunished in crucial moments of the game. Makes you wonder what's the TMO for. France dominated the game but the Boks were allowed to stick to the score by very poor refereeing decisions from Ben O'Keefe who is usually a pretty descent and neutral ref, but he was not on that day. Was it because the New Zealander was protecting the ABs from meeting France again? It was right up there with the 1995 treachery, granted in 1995 the ref was truly corrupt when he received his golden Rolex from Mandela for "service given to the Rainbow Nation". Disgusting. Many remember the Final in 1995 and the poisoned All Blacks but the most shocking blatant display of corrupt cheating which was obvious back then and admitted since, happened in the semi final. France was robbed of a final against the All Blacks and that is the story of the World Cup. This is why Rugby is not a global sport, this is why it is not growing. Rugby remains a commonwealth sport where cheating is encouraged, valued and even boasted upon. I doubt les bleus will ever lift the Webb Ellis, too many times it was obvious SH had to be made the winner. World Rugby has been rugby's worst enemy. At international level, rugby has been a disgrace for too long and the anti-thesis for sportsmanship. As a result the sport is dying, it is very much dead in Australia, it is dying in England, other sports are dominating in New Zealand. The irony is only in France does rugby do well and here we are again, the cheating nations want to organize something that suits them and the French are supposed to destroy the hard work they put in to serve the agenda of greedy nations who are doing it all wrong. That's what happens when you cheat, your supporters have not gone through blood and tears and they take all your wins for granted because it was mostly given to them with a few exceptions. Nobody respects a spoiled brat but spoiled brats have killed this game. Like it or not, a sport were you have to go through pain to ultimately win a trophy is a sport that brings loyalty from all sides, any sport that allows supporters to dream big and their club to go up the ladder brings loyalty, hence the growing success of the Top 14 and the constant decline of other competitions. Sports were cheating has become the norm only creates more delusion of grandeur and supporters leaving. Some forms of cheating are systemic. Any division without relegation and promotion is not only unsportsmanlike, it is a form of organised cheating because it allows a "boys club" to agree that no one should join by merit, it allows complacency, it allows a parody of sport where the outcome is already decided outside the pitch and the trophy goes from hand to hand in a sort of agreement between boys club members. The English Premiership is dying because of that, inbreeding and lack of renewal is killing it. Same goes with Super Rugby... "Super" you say? It is the biggest yawn fest you will ever see. So safe, so predictable, so boring. Rugby is vastly delusional and it is led by inept nations who failed to make it sustainable in their homeland and yet would like to dictate the rules to others only to fit their perpetual cheating agenda. I hope French rugby stay strong with a great Top 14, Pro D2 and Federales and I hope they tell all these cheating bozzos to shove it where the sun does not shine. I have had enough watching the world cup, it has become a parody of itself. I will stick to the Top 14 because it is the only true League in World Rugby where merit applies.
Well said better I could do! I can’t swallow too the Kolbe action against Ramos … I’m surprise to not find him at the olympics 100m. Maybe doping controls are harder than in WRC?🤔🤔🤔
@@Reg2B Yeah the bad faith on that one was staggering, you have supporters who would have you believe that Kolbe is twice as fast as Usain Bolt. Ramos should learn from this however and I hope he has changed his routine since because in rugby France cannot afford to give anything away. Les bleus have to become ruthless and cheat like the anglo-saxons and never mind the "spirit of the game", rugby has no spirit. In a World of cheats you have to cheat, this is what makes rugby a shit sport to watch at international level. Even soccer is more legit. There is not a single international sport where the referee impacted the result of every world cups more than rugby. The only sport that match rugby in cheating is Olympic boxing and that's generous.

Just the fact that he let a lot of plays in the rucks is one of the factors that led the game. France were too clean and less vicious. Instead of bribing refs be more present in world rugby and weight in when it matters. But my main hope is a long awaited change in the game calendar and competitions like other sports such as football (it could also favor us with our never ending top 14) : so far it's pure chaos.
