Sincerely, I don't think the state will be benefited much by lifting NLTP act. Rather the effectual price will be costly.
Never blame the church for voicing out against it or expect the church to be silent on this matter.
The church is the body of Christ and individually all genuine believers are members of Christ's body. And the church will perpetually stand and advocate the biblical principles, whether failed or fulfilled.

Let's wait and see what changes will come after lifting the NLTP act. People talk there won't be adulterated alcohol and the state will generate huge revenu. I don't believe that adulterated alcohol will go away. Also seen the level corruptions in our state we cannot expect any good developments come out of its revenue. The main aim is to check spurious liquor which is shortening the lives of youth, not revenue because the revenue gain will be spent on administration and police for controlling law and order problem created by alcohol effect. My nagas please have self control, otherwise it will revert back to ban if there is no self control.
Our law and order apparatus and those in governance are not nearly equipped to handle the free flow of liquor in the state. First, establish the checking mechanism for underage drinking, drunk driving, quality control, liscensing, public safety etc... All these people in the comment section only talking about revenue should know that 99% of it will disappear into the pockets of leaders and factions.
Teaching in school, Church and education by health Department will mitigate the ill effect.... But partial lifting is better than whole sale black marketing.... By antisocial gangs

Because of NLTP act many people died because of consuming adulterated alcohol at high price,,,,, if they were to drink good quality wines then many will still be alive....
