Looking at GFS model for 12Z Nov 18 today, here is scenario for NYC (us) on the week of Dec 1st, if we get snow on Dec 3-4 or thru Dec 5, then it'll be the first time that we've gotten snow for this early winter season, not just that, it'll also be the first time that it has snowed in NYC in December since 2020, so we have Definity gotta watch that very closely so see if anything changes or not because I like snow :)
There were at least 8 confirmed tornadoes in Oklahoma between 3am-6am. They had a 2/10 risk category for the state just like 2 weeks ago, and it ended up being worse once again. The QLCS setup was more significant than what was predicted.. These Midwest storms may not have the energy they did 10 hours ago but they are not to be taken lightly. The wind gusts alone caused several vehicle pileups on the highways.

Nice slow rain in SE Ks. Warm currently. Nice porch sitting weather for now. Still waiting for fall frost. My dad said when he was a kid one year they had tomatoes from the garden for Thanksgiving (1940’s).. so no hard freeze before then does occasionally happen

We had about 5 mins of hard rain and wind in Tyler, TX- dropped the temp 20° in 15 mins so that was amazing!
