My wife bought a pair of Open Run pro style headphones from Shein or something. I actually really like them - though they are nothing compared to the 'real deal' but great for the price. Great to feel confident/safe riding while listening to podcasts etc. Would love the Open Run pro but in the mean time, I am pretty happy

Great to hear that there may be a cheaper alternative. These type of headphones are so good for riding safely.

Great content, thanks. I have the Airpods Pro and picked up some "Foam Masters" tips that are so sticky that you dont need the Lasso. I had hoped that you would try the Shokz in a fullface helmet

Thanks for watching. I thin k I willl try those foam masters. Good suggestion aboput the full face, I just tried it and it does work. A bit of a pain getting it on and off but they do fit, even with goggles on.

I normal don’t wear any ear pads when I ride…but I wear them last time I rode and I loved it…I have some cheap ones I got for $40USD
    Good info

Yes cheap ones do the job. I guess if you want the bells and whistles and to be a bit safer you have to pay $$

    how about the microphone?

The Aipods microphone is better when cycling but the Shokz is unusable. It is better when stationary though not as good as the Airpods.

buzziness with theopen road pro at higher volumes is really annoying

I find that I have to have it at it's highest on podcasts or it is tough to hear.
