I was an absolute beginner when I discovered your lessons few months ago. Black and white keys had no meaning for me. I don't have too much time for my keyboard (I am a very busy person), but thanks to your explanations I have managed to understand a little the universe of piano. I am 57 years old and I am very happy playing my few chords learned from you at the end of the day, once a week, even less. THANK YOU! Be happy, be safe, along with your family! You are doing a fantastic job for a lot o people around the world. You deserve millions of applause.
Jason, thanks a lot. Now Im sitting along the day for playing this lession. its so easy to understand an with a bit patience possible to play it easy also too. God with you, greetings from Germany, Dimitri.
Thank you Jason it's really very helpfull for me to improvise nice and simple melody using in same time scale and chord. Really you are the best professor !!!
Wonderful; I am speechless. You are a genuine researcher in music. I know what research is about (in mathematics...creativity, exploration, trying new things, seeing things not the same way the others do...) and I can tell you are a great researcher in music. I have never seen such videos anywhere in youtube...WOW
FANTASTIC. More creative/learning possibilities, per unit of time, than just about any lesson I've watched ... including your own. But I really enjoy everything you do: you are always articulate, organized, creative and very proficient on the keys.
Fabulous video Jason, you're the best teacher on RUclips mate. I have a request for a future video, can you cover how to dictate rhythm and/or basslines for the left hand from an audio recording. (apologies if you already have, you have a vast collection of videos!)
Gives me an entirely new thing to work on that is so very versatile and lovely to the ear. This has inspired me to go to your Patreon page to see what it’s all about. Thank you!!
As usual another gr8 video.. Rather than teaching a few techniques you open a new door with each lesson... Thanks to your Hey jude lesson, I with my son are able to play it well now... Another request is to teach Billy joel's Piano man.. Pl consider the request.. Thanks!
23:20ff That's the closest to open string tuning with fast finger picking on a guitar that I've heard gushing out of a piano. Just wonderful. 😄 My absolute favourite arpeggio lesson. Can't wait to learn it! (At work at the moment, can listen but can't play.)
This is incredible! Using the different exercises I can come up with interesting sections but not the beginning for a “song” can you teach me something to begin a “piece” using this exercise?
Hi Patricia. Yes. I am pedalling. I usually Pedal like how I have taught in this lesson: ruclips.net/video/dTK26bDdAGc/видео.html. Can you start with this?

Very nice job you do, but when you show theoretical writings it's hard to read. What I saw tutors with over a milloion followers do is to show on piano how to play smth slowly insted of spending time to explain or making some writings, it's faster and more intuitive + more times I would watch your channel to remind how to play = more attention = bigger probability to share to others + to youtube it's better for rating... Anyway, thank you for sharing your knowledge!
