Thank you 😊 very much for your time and excellent 👌 instructions Jason.
Merci for this. I will no longer use the excuse for saying it's out of my pay grade. You have a great gift of showing how to make music and not just playing the piano.
Glad it was helpful!
Omg, why wasn't there this channel 40 years ago 😌, this would saved me from personal teacher, which barely knew so much from music what you already have forgotten

Thanks a like Subhranil!
Excellent. Thanks Jason.
If you had one more chord in (I'm thinking 1-3-6-2-5-1), it will automatically flip from arpeggio to block after each round of the progression.
Really appreciate the good info. Thank you! 🙏
Good call! That's a super cool idea! Most welcome! Glad you enjoyed the lesson!

Hi Jason, your lessons are really informative and fun, thank you! Can you do a piano lesson on Billy Joel's PIANO MAN, thank you!!!
Thanks a ton for writing in Joan! Sure! I already know the intro and a bit more. Will plan 😃
Thank you for this exercise. I also think that one of the most important things is to know and be able to do the chords and chords. Of course, you also have to know how to practice such things without getting bored. That's why I think it's always good that you also show how to practice it. So far I haven't found a second teacher who can explain it in such detail as you that even the dumbest person can understand. Thank you very much, God bless you.
You're so welcome! Thanks for the support Dimitri!
Jason Zac 🐐

Kindly advise where did you acquire your SL88 from? Do you feel its better than roland fp10? Thanks very much 🙏🏼
Got it second hand somewhere Abheek Das! It's a MIDI controller
@@nathanielschool Thanks a lot. I understand its a midi with hammer action. The sound from the software is top class but more so because the way you play. Your ‘Hey Jude’ rendition is one of the finest I have heard. God Bless and Cheers 🥂
Jason so right by learning diffrent inversions this will help your voice leading and melody structure to develop more. As always great lesson.
Absolutely Robert! Thanks a ton!

Topic: staccato and legato.
(Chapter- Arpeggios & Block Chords)
Hi sir!
I have important questions for me.
In which place in arpeggios (one and two and three and four and) do you hold pedal ?
I know , that in blocks ( one two three four) you use pedal on place "four". (At least I guess that you use).
But in arpeggio I coudn't find it out.
Hi Maria. Yes! I use the pedal at beat 4 of the bar. But with Arpeggios, usually when the Bass note changes in the Left hand, I lift the pedal! Watch this lesson on how to use the Sustain Pedal: ruclips.net/video/dTK26bDdAGc/видео.html
Hello Jason.
Thank you v much for this.
Im confused as to how to construct all the other inversion combinations. Thats havinflg downloaded all the notes. Think im missing something!!! Please help explain
Hi..
You can check out this beginner video:- ruclips.net/video/QAT69Hv1Zuo/видео.html
And also you can follow up the playlist for Inversion:- ruclips.net/p/PLrNNL05e9FT9ygtrGwGFmfyvMyGWH52EC
Please go through these links, this will definitely resolve the issue.
Hi
Thanks for the reply. I understand all the inversions.
What I'm after is the formula for making all chord inversions based on the I, Vi, ii, iV progression.
You gave G, Em, Am, D. And
F, Dm, Gmail, C.
But the information in your notes doesn't explain how to form all the others.
Can you please see our playlist on Chord inversions. You should be sure to find a lesson which solves this problem - ruclips.net/p/PLrNNL05e9FT9ygtrGwGFmfyvMyGWH52EC
Nice exercise. I think it would be more correct to call them voicings or shapes rather than inversions, because technically if you have the root in the bass you are always playing first inversion of that chord.
Thank you Vladimir!
That would be called 'root position'?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣dude this is ridiculous 😝😅😅😅you are so wrong..doesn't matter if you are doing the root on lower notes they are still chord inversions
@@kennedymutinda4806 I was wrong in that it is not "first inversion" but "root position" whenever you have the root in the bass. This was correctly pointed out by James Smith above.
As regards your comment - I understand your point, but no. When you talk about harmony, the inversion is determined by which note is played in the bass. If you ignore the left hand, fair enough, you can call them inversions for simplicity. But from a harmonic perspective, these are all "root position" chords and not inversions.

Sir kya yah hindi me bata sakte hain
Hey Subhas unfortunately my Hindi is not fluent so it's very difficult for me to make videos in Hindi.
Sir Hindi language video please.
Thank you sir .
Suppppppper
Thanks a lot, Firoz!😃
Unfortunately, this is just another Rote exercise. It does NOT teach a student how to play different chords in one position. You just taught a static chord progression with given fingerings. I would like to see you teach someone to pull chords out of their imagination or to read a Lead Sheet and make it smooth harmonically. That would be an inversion MASTER. Good luck!
