Welp.
Lollll. It’s not us who were wrong, it was them. The day when the audience knew more about what a tv show was about than the people writing it.
What do you guys think about the people who are saying that whoever is upset that Arya killed the Night King must be anti-feminist women haters?
@@arthurmorel1943 Here's the thing, literally almost no one (ha) has said they didn't like the fact that it was Arya... they disliked that it was Arya teleporting out of the thin air to one shot the main series villain in episode 3/6 before anything was properly explained
@@loooongneck Yeah I hear you man. The Night King and the white walker story arc has been completely ruined. He and his buddies had the chance to become some of the most feared evil entities in film history but I don't see that happening now.
I didn't mind Arya killing the night king, she does have assassin skills, what bothered me is that we didn't get to see a sword fight between the night king and Jon Snow, and also the night should have exchanged words with Bran and tell him why he is the target or why he wants to erase history and all that. Seeing the night king is the biggest threat we should have at least understood his origin and his motive. Also him demonstrating his full abilities and why he is to be feared before he is killed.
seems his target was to kill the show, he's more evil than we could've predicted.
yep
The Night King is coming South to find Podrick and ask him what he did with the girls.
NOW THAT IS FUNNY~!
I disagree, he's going to Winterfell cause he wants to know what happened when Tyrion brought a Honeycomb & a Jackass into a brothel.
Never did get to hear the end of that story
Pod doesn’t have a magic cock. He has the voice of an angel.

Your mom goes to college
Which is why Bran is the only one who can take on the NK, but he would need a specific body to assist.
He pointed that out tho
NOPE HE GETS STABBED BY A BUTTER KNIFE AND DIES
It's not a butter kni-actually it makes Arya cooler if she killed the night king with a butter knife so yeah its a butter knife.

And then he wants to become a faceless man
1 way or another, there's too much going on for GOT to end in 6 episodes. I hope I'm not alone when I say that it feels rushed for how much buildup we got.
Exactly there are way too much narratives and truths to be uncovered ubruptly in 6 episodes
The shows writing has turned to crap after s5
i think it will be close to how things end in real life abruptly with no real winners. And to me that will be the best ending for me
Seriously. Like 7 seasons of build up and now they wanna finish the great war in 6 eps
The great war is 1 eps long. Kit Harrington slipped it in Graham Norton show.
There "isnt" too much going on. If it was, eps1 would have more happening. I can tell u nothing unpredictable is going to happen.
Majority of these theories in this vid are completely dumb. A TV series isn't that deep. Everything that happens is laid bare for viewers to know eg. Bran warging into a dragon? Like ok the walkers just battled them, killed one, resurrected it, used it to take the wall down - all for bran to warg into its brain and say.. thank you I'll have that dragon back lol.
The biggest reveal left (which I know theyll screw up) is what the white walkers are and why they fighting.
He came to stop global warming

@Jeremy Marsh 18 of the last 19 years have been record hot years. And that includes some really cold winters in places. yes
Cant even make a joke with the stupid infighting X
You can tell the night king has special plans for Jon Snow he’s been watching him since the beginning.
And the night king had had lots of chances to kill him but didn’t
Yes...
Hes not done any of his show for Jon. Jon is meaningless for him. Hes after bran and those other 2 dragons. When he rose the dead at hardhome it wasnt for Jon it was for bran the 3 eyed Raven to see. Which he did. Jon to night king is the same as Sam was to white walker trying to take gillies baby, nothing. He just shoved sam out the way.
Welp.
Haha lol
I'm so sad all these predictions were wrong, they would have made the rest of the season way more hyped if the night kings didn't die in one hit in episode 3...

Watching this after s8e2 made it quite obvious Bran is the target considering they are using Bran as bait. Also I think the third betrayal that Daenerys gets will be from her Dragon when they choose Jon over her as the True Targaryen heir
Michael Howard at this point always thought either Jon or Tyrion choosing family over her with her last betrayal being for love but man never thought about her dragons. I still think Jon though killing her with Longclaw and pulling out Lightbringer fulfilling the prince that was promised prophecy.
Well, he's a pile of ice cubes now.
Night King is after Bran specifically so he can turn him and control him. Use his power to a completely unlocked level and once he has Bran as his weapon he stops caring about Westeros and goes after his true enemy, The Lord of Light.

The dead aren't mindless though. They do remember some things. Oasha's husband came back to their hut to kill her. The whyte that tries to kill Joar Mormont knows to go directly to the high Commander's tower. Both things in the books AND TV show. They do retain some memory or identity

@@mejfuz Found the Incel.
You have to remember that Bran warged into the mentally sound hodor, before all the brain damage. Therefore, Bran has warged into normal humans
That is not how it is explained in the books at all. Warging into humans is extremely difficult because they are too strong willed. Bran was only able to warg into Hodor because he was "simple minded".
@@tiffanybond7568 i dont mean the books, in the show the reason why hodor is so simple minded is that bran warged into his mind whilst in the future. Hodor is seen to be somewhat intelligent and empathetic before this point.
Agreed, but he didn't warg into Hodor before he was simple minded. Obviously, they can make the show different from the books.. but in the books it was made clear that bran couldn't warg into other people.
I didn't get that Bran Warged into Hodor in the past at all. I understood it as Hodor heard the echoes of "Hold the door" through time via the Wargs' remote viewing powers and it broke his mind. Thus making him simple minded, thus allowing Bran to Warg into him in the future. I just took the white eyes thing as his eyes rolling back as he had a seizure.
I'm not sure it counts as warging. Evidently Bran's still mentally in the courtyard, not inside Hodor's body. Also the scene doesn't match the only documented (yes, books) case of a human being warged, in the slightest.
Seems more like he's breaking Hodor's mind by setting up a connection.
But, that's probably overthinking. After all, the scene already would make you think Hodor should be traumatized by that word, which doesn't seem to be the case.
You are by far the least annoying narrator of these types of videos. You actually say interesting facts and are always citing historical info from the books (i.e. references). Keep it up! Can't wait to see how the season plays out vs your theories!

Well if the NK goes to KL and turns the Mountain into a WW maybe then the Hound can kill him with fire... poetic Justice for the Hound
That would be so cool.
I want the Night King to turn The Mountain into a King Kong-like behemoth and have him duke it out with a dragon
I fully support this theory....even though that now appears unlikely.
@@dustintunget4177 right..wishful thinking
@@panthergal7399 I still hope there's more to this in the Bran/Night King story....otherwise, why not let the NK kill Bran, THEN let Aryan kill the NK? I don't get the point of leaving him alive if there's not a future twist in the story that involves him. I want to see the undead in King's Landing, eating Cersi's face off!
I'm glad you cite Varamyrs prologue, it definitely seemed to be setting up a big plot point going forward
It showed upon death his consciousness blended with the surroundings until tethering to his wolf, and that skinchanging into a human is super hard when they have a will to resist you
And he had been riding 6 creatures
His description of their various resistance was awesome, the wolves end up bonding more powerfully, but the shadowcat constantly fights back
And a lot of the Ravens have remnants in them like orrel and his eagle
And how the weirwoods work by being a gestalt blend of all the previous greenseer consciousnesses
The problem with Bran being the Night King theory is that he should theoretically be 10 steps ahead of everyone and should've been able to stop Bran before he made it to the three eyed raven, and not wait for Bran to do his three eyed raven shenanigans, as we noticed the Children of the Forest were not strong enough to stop them from surrounding the cave.

The Mad King - “Burn them All”,
Hodor - “Hold the Door”!
whos burall?
yeah a good theory is that bran warged back in time and whispered to the mad king to burn all the whitewalkers, but it broke his mind (similar to hodor) and all the mad king would say was burn them all, not anything about the white walkers, hence he was classed as mad by all who saw him
Yeah mad King definitely was the work of bran. Is there anything he hasn't fucked up
Yeah, I had this very same thought following the hodor origin episode.. I think Bran wargs into someone other than the mad king though, someone close to him, while the dead besiege kings landing and the mad king catches a glimpse of that battle. This leads to him getting very little sleep as result of the nightmares that would surely follow such a vision and descends into madness, looses his noodle and decides it's best to go for broke making copious amounts of boom juice for when that day comes.. and thus the mad king's origin story!
Night King "Ice To Meet You".
The fact that the three eyed raven told Bran he would never walk again tells me he's not the Night King.
The New England Nerd Eh when Bran goes back or forward in time he’s on his feet. That comment alone isn’t enough to disprove Bran/Night King theory.
episode 2 confirmed, he is after bran
Why is he going to KL...I think he and Cercy makes a good couple..
When the army of the dead appeared in the last episode (season 8 episode 2) i was expecting to hear the roar of the ice dragon but I didnt. That was weird. And also why whould he fly alone to KL with only one dragon. He is powerful yeah but there is a 20k army they could have valyrian steel and threaten the night king.
Can't they just send Bran behind the wall, rebuilt the wall and problem solved? lol
Can't wait for tonight's episode, gonna be a lot of deaths
Musa Ngobeni *john cena* : are you sure about that?
The Three Eyed Raven is the only human being we've seen the Night King personally go after and kill so it makes sense that Bran would be his main target now.
I do think Jon and Daenerys are right up there with him, though, because if neither of them is the Prince/Princess who was promised to bring the Dawn in the end, then their potential child definitely will be and the Night King can't let that happen.
My theory is that the Night King is after Bran, specifically his ability to control the living. Right now, we know the Night King can only control the dead, however we know Bran has had instances of controlling the living (Hodor).
Perhaps if the NK resurrected Bran or had full access to his power, he could control the living... alongside the dead. So then everyone becomes a part of his army.
So many possibilities goodness...making my head spin x.x love how you call him Grand Daddy Ice though lol.
If both Bran an the night king are green seeing/wargs. Then who says Bran can't raise the dead, maybe another fallen Dragon, as well as the dead kings of winterfell in the crypts. ?
Because we have no proof that bran is also a necromancer. He is probably more powerful than knight King cuz he can warg ppl tho so they have different strengths.
Very well-thought-out analysis! I enjoyed hearing your perspective, please keep it coming! It will be quite interesting to see how it plays out in the show and later in the books.
He's after Bran, explained in the recent episode, that Bran can hold all knowledge of the world, but I also agree that Bran is the one that can turn the wages of the war quickly, if he can take control of Visceron, ultimately ending the Night King's aerial advantage. Hopefully next episode will give some form of answer.
An actual battle for the first time for Bran period would be dope but add the mental mind aspect to it would solidify the legacy of the Greatest show EVER.🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
This video provides no evidence that dragons are intelligent in GoT. Even dogs can differentiate between friend and foe, and dogs are dumb af compared to humans
Yeah any kind of battle Bran can participate in would be awesome regardless of how he would have to "battle" just due to him wanting to become a great knight before he was crippled.
Lord Great lol breaking bad, the sopranos and the wire
Game of thrones has flaws you gotta be real, its not perfect but its fun! However far from greatest
It was tyrion's plan to capture a wight not jon's.
It was Jon's idea to go himself. That wasn't part of Tyrion's plan.
Doesn't save how bad that part of the season was,
Kurt Knipsel alright, I'll call your bluff.
Concept: You have the ability to go back in time and warg the Directors of that specific episode. Re-direct the episode in an attempt to improve critical reception.
And a stupid fucking plan it was. Last season was thick with ex machinas, plot armor and unrealistic travel times.
@i SkyWalKing This. Last season was the worst yet. The plan to go back north for a zombie was retarded. The fact most of them survived was retarded. The fact that everyone could traverse all of westeros in 30 mins was retarded. They really showed their TV drama weakness as writers last season. I'm surprised danni's dragon didnt have plot armor on when everyone else seemed to be thick with it.
It isn't about Bran BEING the Night King but more about him Warging AS him. Like he is of the Three Eyed Raven. You're talking about it not being possible to be someone because he existed before Bran but the theory is the same way that he is the Three Eyed Raven.
Listening to these theories after seeing 4 episodes of season 8 is RREEEAALLLYYY depressing
The showrunners explained that Viseryian isn't a wight dragon, but instead is a White Walker dragon.
I think Bran (or rather The Three-Eyed Raven) is the target. Specifically, because this has been set-up a few times in prior seasons. This is also why the Night King made so much effort to go after Bran/Raven before.
Alternative theory? I think the Iron Throne will be destroyed in the end, as the symbolic physical object of power, and the Night King may be the one to destroy it. More likely, the dragons will melt it into scrap.
why didn't the NK kill bran the vision... he just touched bran hand
Game of thrones was just the name of the first book. I dont think that the throne has any relevance for the rest of the story
@@jumajasjas2925 I think he didn't get the chance. Or maybe he couldn't.

I think that’s how Bran will die:
Night King will let Bran warg Viserion, so that Bran may allow the living to spear the dragon, but that will kill Bran in the attempt. All according to the Night King’s plan, easily removing his biggest opponent from the equation.
It would be a stupid waste if that is the case. I mean, they dedicated an entire episode, spent all that money on prosthetics and visual effects, hired Max von Sydow to play the Three-Eyed Raven, just for a "HA-HA!" wasteful shock death on Episode 3 that accomplishes very little. If Bran dies (I don't think he will but let's just say he will), it would result in changing the tide in favor of the living.
okay but A)by then Bran might very well be practiced and powerful enough that if he does see that the Night King is intending to kill him by killing the dragon he's warged into, he'd be able to warg back out of quickly enough before a "kill shot" is landed, but B)even if not, I'm not sure we've seen definite indication yet that if the NK kills a thing Bran's warged into in that moment that it would also kill Bran's mind & body.
do we get non-stop videos now the week before the first episode? Yes please!

Also a side note, Viserion is not an ordinary zombie, if you been paying attention Night King doesn't need to touch zombies to resurrect and the only "tactile" resurrection we saw him doing was on Craster's babies. I think NK transferred part of his essence/soul into Viserion which likely means that NK and Viserion need to die at the same time. Though I doubt this will be explored in the show, as it was likely done for mere theatrical effect.
Also Viserion's eyes are more of a white walker than the wight.

Qyburn would certanly visit such a shop.
