Passengers are not "crew" and tourists are not "astronauts".
Hear here !
No one asked for you opinion
so what. we all know the difference. you got a problem with letting people have some fun? it's an amazing and possibly life altering experience.
Cope
@@CodepageNet I have absolutely no problem with space tourism, or fun, or adventure, or even reckless thrill-seeking. I say let people do what they want. My only problem is when companies like Blue Origin and Virgin Galactic peddle Stolen Valor for money, and hand out astronaut wings to people who've done little more than strap in for the world's most expensive amusement park ride. When these companies (and the media) repeatedly refer to paying customers and passengers as "astronauts" who are part of a "crew" on a "mission" to "space", it really cheapens and devalues the hard work, sacrifice, and accomplishments of ACTUAL REAL ASTRONAUTS.
*Count me in when the price of this Disney themed ride drops to $1000*
Any footage from in side the capsule of that landing? Any reported spinal injuries?
OH-HOO .. That landing was looking a bit "discomfort" 😆😄
Please get rid of that narrator...
It took more than 60 years but Ed has finally got his chance to go to space. Thank you NASA for making this possible for him.
In space? Astronaut? Funny blue balls😂
Looks like that "Landing" would snap some necks.
Very good successful launch congratulations to 🇮🇳them
No one on this craft is in a pressure suit! An explosive decompression would mean nearly instant death, especially above 80,000ft ascending to apogee!
Presales are where the money’s at, and Revux is the best opportunity right now.
Neil Armstrong would be unimpressed by the “whooping”.
Armstrong never went into space
@@turyjordan3827 No. Of course he didn’t. Keep on believing that if you must.
Proud to be indian. ..jai hind
One decompression event will end the space tourism industry. It is going to happen, just a question of when.
Similar was probably said when jet airliners started to gain popularity.
@@mikeomolt4485
No, they didn't! Airliners have emergency oxygen for passengers and the crew can get that aircraft down to a safe altitude in a matter of minutes. Generally, in sustained flight at 39,000ft, a person will lose consciousness in about thirty seconds to a minute breathing at that altitude without supplemental oxygen.
Above 60,000 feet these people have no chance as they will lose consciousness within seconds and it will be fatal above 100,000 feet, especially if they are still ascending to apogee!
decompression is the least of all risks. it's way easier than a submarine.
THEY ARE NOT CREW
Nominal has a new definition !
The eco clown is so sad..
They are space tourist
not astronauts I love how far we have came in space travel but don’t lessen the name of real astronauts by saying they are the same they ain’t
Predicting a 100x surge for Revux post-Binance launch.
Gopi Thotakura. Congratulations.🎉
0:49 such a cool guy
Revux has 100x potential after its Binance listing. Mark my words.
they're spaniards in the french high altitude glider launched from italy.
on that one? i designed the Ca+ cation in their fuel.
it uses real uranium in it's reactor.
i like their smile, Ohio!
Hearing so much about Revux in my crypto groups. Definitely on the rise!
Come on man Ed White, I thought you were going to be doing some summersaults, and spinning around experiencing the no gravity, I am disappointed with you 😂😂😂😂😂😂. Just kidding Ed glad you made it, hope someday I could actually go to the Moon and Mars and some other planets, but I am glad everyone dream came through ❤👍
Im glad you are glad but you could get his name right. Ed Dwight
B O is a carnival ride for rich folk.
Triggered
Lawd-a-mighty, I hope the "OMG! OMG!" guys were wearing their astro-pamps, 'cause I'm pretty sure they peed themselves.
Nice eco friendly rocket launch you have there..
Why do they call them astronauts? Are you a pilot because you took a ride in a 737?
Supposedly they passed the Kármán line, sixty-two miles or one hundred kilometers, above the Earth's surface. The Kármán line is set at what NOAA calls “an imaginary boundary.” I'd call them imaginary Astronauts!
man, always these comments. are you so bitter? we all know that they are not astronauts in the trained sense. it's like saying "it's all scripted" under each WWE video.
@@DirtyLilHobo Even NASA says that to be an astronaut, you have to go to space to do some work. These guys just do flips in the weightless capsule for 5 minutes. It's just an expensive amusement park ride.
I Don't Care They're Not Astronaut's But They Have Been Going Into The High Orbit As The Space Tourist Traveler's Or Astrobit With A New Their Experience Duty For The Human Earth Civilization 😇🙏
Cuánto les costó el paseo? Cuánto les costará los huesos rotos?
P.s please put Longer springs on the landing gear😂😂
Is it just me, or is Qventi getting a lot of attention like Revux?
Revux is the talk of the town in all my crypto circles. Big things coming!
😊😅😮😢🎉🎉😂❤
7:33 😊😅😮😢🎉😂😂
All in on BTC and Revux, with a small bet on SOL and ADA.
It's basically spending lots of money to be strapped to a firework😊
Right about now some flat earth insects are gonna say, "I can see the lines on their bodies! I can see them lines!"
Blue Origin giving toy rocket rides just like Disneyland. Where's New Glen?
Two and half chutes, no cushioning rockets. Was anyone injured?
Yes Blue Origin brought out their animatronic Ed Dwight to talk to reporters while the original was flown to Area 51.
Is all they ever going to do is give weightless rides to lower space! 🤣
If it's up then right back down why detach at all just ride the booster back down...no need to worry about parachute failure like this time...more testing please...👽....🖖
With the booster attached, it is much heavier and won't reach space. Therefore, it has to be detached. At some point the booster must detach before landing as well. Booster too heavy for parachute
@@YYLiow I thought that's what the retro-rocket firing was for. No parachute needed if you land that way.
Oh my god, ooohhh mmmyyy goood 😂
Ed Dwight, the only Astronaut among this group, finally made it to space. All my respect Sir. 🫡 😎
Take that, CHUCK!!!😎
looks like a pretty rough landing
Technically it’s considered a “rough landing” if there are only 2 out of 3 parachutes, so it’s descent was a tad fast, but most of that dust and what looks “rough” about it is actually the system of pressurized air under the capsule that kicks up dust and softens the landing. Plus the seats are like helicopter seats that cushion the blow. It’s actually a super soft landing all things considered, even with just two parachutes!
It's the center booster firing to slow them down. It does look like a crash landing but it's not.
That's also why the view from inside the capsule looks like they have a table or post in the center of the space. It's the body of the booster
He’s got such a good laugh
We have a lot of interest in space but due lack of support we remained dull in
Wer kann schon von sich behaupten sowas mal erlebt zu haben
This is just theme park ride
I am ashamed that there are so many critical comments here. It proves that (lot of) people today cannot admire anything or anyone. Is this envy or superficiality? Okay. I know, I know. If I don't like it, I don't have to read it...right. But it still shows that people's hearts are empty. I was homeless a few years ago, then I travelled to 100 countries, and most people get stuck on how skinny I am or where I pay my taxes. Just like here, the only thing a few persons can say is crew or no crew. Or whether he is an astronaut or not. (I think they are cosmonauts)😅
Civilians went to the space. Isn't that a big thing? Or are we not watching the same video?
This trip is a dream of mine, but I don't think I'll share the video of it once I get to this spaceship.
❤❤❤❤❤🎉😊
Looks like fun. But I wouldn't call it "going to space". Just a very high parabolic flight.
Define space
It passed the karman line 🤷♂️
375,000 feet is in space. They went to space.
It's not a parabolic flight. Straight up, above the Kármán line and back down.
Let's lite this candle? Really.
Where all the flat earthers at 😂
Didn’t look like that cushioning engine fired just before touch down. The crew will be looking for Doans pills for back pain.
Everytime these things land, an internet troll with 0 knowledge thinks it crashes. The thrusters initiate literally 2 feet before touchdown. Keep up.
Have they got any teeth left after that landing?
If you they all jump into the air just before landing 😕
Space Balls ludacris speed
If Elon has done half this people will ce cheering in the comments. Relax people this is good for space. Money coming in means more research funding for space technology.
NOw this is the silliest comments here. Spacex has done alot more, hence the company now dominant the space industry in the amount of rockets they launch.
Although I think this is a little cool ultimately I wrestle with how pointless this type of event is. It doesn't accomplish anything other than gratification for a few extremely wealthy people that have suppressed money from other people to allow them these few seconds of extravagant gratification.
hmmmm let me think.... maybe giving a lot more people the opportunity to see the earth from a height that was before only reserved to a handful of individuals? it leaves a big impression on everybody. there will be more launches in the future, prices will come down, somewhat. i can't understand these comments.
In this situation there are two very stupid things that you could do. Do somersaults and take videos with own camera. I see that they do both. Instead, they should watch and watch.

𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗼 𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀.. 🤣

Dude this has nothing to do with Nasa, so relax, hence nothing to do with your taxes.
Not Space, keep dreaming Jeff maybe one day.
Just an elevator ride!

Paying tourists is all they are.In a few years Disneyland will have the same ride.Until Bozo can orbit the earth at least one time its just a ride.

Funny how ALL of Earth is cluded... Fake?
Capsule touchdown? That was a crash landing
Go research how the capsule works.
I know a hard landing when I see one
@@keithwaites9991 Yes, Ed Dwight's 90 year old spine was turned to dust.
Yawn
At best a carnival ride for the rich. other than that it serves no purpose.
Sorry ,I'm just not that impressed. 🤭
I don't remember anyone asking you 😂
@ironspider9280 I asked her earlier. I asked "Were you impressed", so you probably won't remember it.
@anthonyb8600 okay cool 🤣 so why is she telling everyone instead of you
For the same reason you're telling everyone that you don't remember anyone asking her. 😂
