I'm not a particular fan of clusters and popcorn stitches but I really like this pattern. I have already started a project using this stitch, and it is turning out nicely. Thank you for showing this to us. 🙂
I think this pattern is simple enough for me to do. I’m sure I’ll need to watch the video for each row and how to end the rows but I think I can do this one. I do wish you could speak to us and give the names of the stitches as you do them. It really helps us beginners learn the difference between stitches. Also I’ve always wondered if it matters where in the stitch you insert the hook. It’s the simple things that beginners need to know
For those folks posting that the video should have spoken or written instructions. Not everyone speaks the same language - so you only need to watch the stitches as they are formed, and write down what you understand the names are - the stitches have different names, depending where you are and who taught you to crochet. The instructions are actually included in the video - so if you cannot see them, try viewing on a different device - they are there and I'm using a laptop. I think you are too demanding of someone who is providing free access to this sort of skill. This is a denser variation of the Chocolate Box Stitch - not new - just slightly tighter version.
I love your videos! Your tutorials are expertly produced where you clearly demonstrate the stitches and their proper placement in each row. Kudos for a job well done! I look forward to viewing all future videos. You are a great teacher!! 😊
I agree I love the patterns but would be better if u would talk and explain what u are doing. I have all of ur tutorials saved and only 2 I have made blankets from
This isn't a new pattern, I did this years ago. Beautiful color yarn though, I did this pattern with different blues, and a grey for the sc skip a st row and it came out really good.
So sorry, I was watching this earlier & just noticed I had accidentally hit the dislike instead of the like!! Sorry! I have MS & Lupus & my hands shake! I do crochet to help the muscles in my hands be less painful & love your work!!
I like her crochet patterns but I'm right there with you. It's much more pleasant when they discuss what they are doing. I watch Bag o Day Crochet "Crystal" is awesome and her TUTORIALS are very good. Check out her RUclips Channel you will be Hookec
It's very obviously 4 ply worsted because of the thickness of it; it is certainly not baby sport, any other kind of sport yarn, or DK or fingering weight which are the lighter, thinner denier weights. Process of elimination, baby. Any thicker yarn could not be worked with such a small hook to a degree that you could see the stitching so well , but, as it is, it's a little tight for me and I would probably use a larger hook- just one or two sizes larger cuz otherwise you could lose the pattern/definition/effect of the stitches, I think.
I know there are labels in the margins of the screen "multiple of 2, sc, c1, skip 1, row 1 as row 3" or whatever, sc = single crochet, c1= chain 1, unless u were talking about more explicit with the more complicated steps like "I am sticking my hook through the hole I made in the previous row, grabbing the yarn, pulling it up, c1 then repeat until i have 4 in the same hole and appears that I have 5 loops on the hook, pull yarn through all 5 loops, c1 and repeat"? I'm just thankful the step is repeated enough times to understand what's going on 😅 but yes, forces us to be a visual learner than auditory learner, if as an educator you've learned of different learning types. I personally like the soft music and no voice, as I am often watching at night or in the early waking hours so I can play at little to no volume so as not to disturb my mate next to me 😆
Fanbloodytastic 💖 they look like tulips
I was able to crochet this pattern and it was really easy and turned out beautifully

I wish the name of the stitch was listed so I could identify my swatches by name.
I use close caption on other videos but this had none.

Just one more comment. Explain what stitch you are using & making all patterns have a name.

Stitches should have a name so I can remember each one. At least make up a name.
