I mean, listening to this compared to the CD track, I can tell that it's her voice live, but there is an overlay of effect on it. So yeah, I'm almost certain that the mic is running through a channel or port on his controller that has a vocoding effect of some sort.

Then when I saw the stairway I realized it was the same place this video was shot at, and took a pic of the stairway, and people looked at me weird, like why would he take a pic of the stairway?
