സർ, എന്റെ ലൈസൻസ് 2017 ൽ expired ആയി. എന്റെ ലൈസൻസി നഷ്ടപ്പെടുകയും പിന്നീട് വിദേശത്ത് പോയത്തിനാലും പുതുക്കാൻ പറ്റിയില്ല. ഇപ്പോൾ 6 വർഷം കഴിഞ്ഞു. ഇപ്പോൾ സ്ഥിര താമസം ലൈസൻസ് എടുത്ത RTO ആയ പാലായിൽ നിന്നും ആലുവ ആണ്. Licence പുതുക്കാൻ എന്താണ് വഴി. ആദ്യം duplicate എടുക്കണോ

@@arunkesavan1 2017-മുതൽ ഉള്ള ഫൈൻ അടക്കണം. ഒപ്പം H or 8 test-ഉം റോഡ് ടെസ്റ്റും പാസ് ആകണം.

@@arunkesavan1 പുതിയത് അലോട്ട് ചെയ്തു തരില്ല... 5 വർഷം വരെയുള്ളവർക്ക് റോഡ് ടെസ്റ്റ് മാത്രവും. അഞ്ചു വർഷം കഴിഞ്ഞവർക്ക് H-ഉം, 8-ഉം വേണം.
എല്ലാ office ലും ഒരേ സമയത്ത് ത്തുടങ്ങിയാൽ പോരെ? ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ, state(Country) ന് പുറത്ത്, ചിലരുടെ മാത്രം Smart Card കണ്ടാൽ, മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെ DL എല്ലാം duplicate ആണെന്ന് അവർ പറയില്ലേ??
വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം മാത്രമേയുള്ളൂ വിവേകം ഇല്ല അതാണ് ചേട്ടാ കേരളത്തിന്റെ ശാപം

Yes sir, I was surprised to see the license I got. It is just a piece of paper that is laminated and stapled in case lamination loses its glue.
I had book license that is expiring in June and applied to replace it. Data entry was free of cost. But wanted physical license so I requested replacement of DL. It costs 805 Rs and I got a paper with hologram and QR code laminated. It was worth may be 20 Rs like you said. Hope MVD and govt. listen to your words and bring a change soon to smart cards.

സർ... Expired ആയ ലൈസെൻസ് പുതുക്കാൻ ഓൺലൈൻ procedures എല്ലാം ചെയ്തു ഫീസും അടച്ചു 1 വർഷത്തിൽ കൂടുതൽ ആയി expired ആയിട്ട് അപ്പോൾ test എടുക്കണം. അതിന് വേണ്ടി slot book ചെയ്യണ്ട ആവശ്യം ഉണ്ടോ? Rto യിൽ എന്തേലും papers submit ചെയേണ്ടതായി ഉണ്ടോ? Last കിട്ടിയ print out ൽ 3 days ന് ഉള്ളിൽ documents rto ൽ submit ചെയ്യണം എന്ന് കണ്ടു. പക്ഷെ എന്തൊക്കെ documents ആണ് കൊടുക്കേണ്ടത്...?

Sir, എന്റെ ലൈസൻസ് റീന്യൂൽ ചെയ്യാൻ കൊടുത്തിട്ട് 3months ആയി. ഇതുവരെ കിട്ടിയില്ല. ഇനി ഞാൻ എന്തു ചെയ്യും. ഏജന്റ് വഴിയാണ് കൊടുത്തത് അവർ പറയുന്നത് smart കാർഡ് ആണ് വരുന്നത് അതുകൊണ്ടാണ് late ആകുന്നത് എന്നാണ്
ഇവിടെ എല്ലാം 50 വർഷം പുറകിൽ ആണല്ലോ. ഇനി ചിപ്പ് വെച്ചത് വരണം എങ്കിൽ വീണ്ടും 50 വർഷം എടുക്കും. അപ്പൊൾ മറ്റ് സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ അതിലും വലിയ technology കൊണ്ട് വരും. 😃😃

Sir,driving licences with an embedded chip. While these chips or driving licenses offer easy access to information, they require special devices to read them. Smart card license is not PVC card license. It contains embedded chip which is used for getting data from DL through . In Karnataka, they provide chip embedded DL and RC .Please correct it .ie PVC type DL is not smart card DL .. :)

1988ൽ ഒമാനിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്തിരുന്ന സമയത്ത് ഇത്പ്പോലെ ഉള്ള ലൈസ്സൻസ് ആണ് എനിക്ക് ലഭിച്ചത് , അത് കൊണ്ട് ഇത് ഒരു വലിയ സംഭവമായി എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നില്ല. മറ്റുള്ള രാജ്യങ്ങൾ ഇപ്പോൾ എത്ര പുതിയ ടെക്നോളജിയിൽ എത്തിയുട്ടുണ്ട്.
നേരേ ചൊവ്വെ ഒരു തിരച്ചറിയൽ കാർഡ് ജനങ്ങങ്ങളിൽ എത്തിക്കാൻ ഇത് വരെ സാധിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ഇവിടെ ജനങ്ങൾ വിഭജിക്കണം ആ ഒരു ചിന്ത മാത്രമെ ഭരണ കർത്താക്കൾക്ക് ഉള്ളൂ.
ഇത് താമസിച്ചതിന്റെ കാരണം മിനിസ്റ്റർ തന്നെ പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നല്ലോ
അവർക്ക് തടസ്സ വാദങ്ങൾ കുറേ ഉണ്ടാകും

@@Vishu95100 I know how to ride, I'm 16 now(turning 17 within months) and i still drive two wheeler and cars, I'm just concerned about the age, like will they increase the minimum age to get a licence,because I am waiting soo badly to get a licence.And if they increase the minimum age, i will be needed to wait that much time, so I am bit nervous 🙌🙌🙌
