Thank you. I needed to hear this before I go to work where I work next to a mean, narcissistic baby. Yesterday there was actually a fight over a parking spot with him and another worker but I’ve been so fed up with the vile and meanness that I’ve started reacting angrily towards him.
Great mature way to distance yourself from their *personality disorder* and not make it "about you". I've improved on this but it's hard sometimes not to react to people who function like this/are conversationally abusive to strangers. It's weird. I don't necessarily think that every time it's the universe telling you something as there are a lot of people with their own unresolved issues with whom we come across/share this space with. It's not always about us. They have their own free will and ways of acting out/treating other people because they can't face their own abyss of shame and ego issues.
IMHO... you are insulting babies. Most babies are NOT AS SELFISH AS NARCISSISTS. After a baby is fed, he/she is happy, smiling....laughing and enjoying life. Not the NARC.
