This lovely spirit just fills my soul. Time and again, Shelby leaves me with more than before. The part about her Mama and Daddy being there is a precious reality. I have a loved one, too, that is with me always. It may seem 'cheesy' to those with shallow souls but it is my really true blessing in life. I am never 'alone', I receive answers and guidance, just as Shelby does. Thank you for this affirmation of truth.
Such a Great Live Interview with Shelby & it's so nice to hear her speak from her heart & share such a very God Gifted Talent With Us! Thank You Shelby for Sharing Your Love!
Wow, I'll Hold Your Head brought tears to my eyes, Such an amazing voice and story, I think I'm in love. I want to go back is the story of my recent life.
we need more musicians like shelby who play the kind of music that comes from your heart, and not from the commercial side of record companys and the idiots that would rather hear that candy ass crap nashville pumps out in todays so called country music. She along with folks like her sister , Shawn Colvin , Dawn Sears, Patty Loveless, Suzy Boguss, ect. are what todays country should be about, along with the great instrument players, That is what makes great heartfelt true Music !! love ya shelby
A beautiful voice, very deep expression (work so well with an acoustic approach). You can compare this to the "studio" versions on Revelation Road (on Itunes). She has a lot of other good music there too. Thanks Shelby.
it works like this; the person who conducts the public interview, has to frame the questions as IF the audience doesn't know everything. That way, people who are unfamiliar w/ her, can hear these things anew. Also, the interview-ee usually says what they want to talk about and not talk about. Shelby Lynne surely does not need to talk about the past tragedies every single time she is talked to, it's not what it's about all the time.
I don't think there's anybody who doesn't know there's a "story" behind the music. I just hated the way the interviewer pulled it out of you, Shelby. Like she's a therapist or something. Facts are hard core. The truth around them is always shifting. It's nobody's business. If they just listen to your songs, that's all anybody needs to know. Nobody I've ever heard sings their truth louder or better than Shelby Lynne. We don't need an interpreter. Just listen.
Best singer out there. Does all genres perfectly as well as her own material. I am addicted to this lady's music.
I love this woman. Period.
Whatta killer songwriter and singer 🙌an inspiration to me .

Simply the best female singer/composer
The song tells her story ..never thought she could express it in a song..Powerful..really powerful..absolutely one of her best.
Shelby's talent runs as deep as does her soul. She's a gem. What you see is what you get.
. Such a strong spirit sharing a mirror into her soul. Raw, unfiltered, poetic and transparent. One of a kind Shelby.
