I purchased a 60 ton Edwards Ironworkers back in 2010. It’s never disappointed me and is used on a daily basis. Never had a breakdown. By far the best tool I’ve ever owned. You can’t go wrong with these Ironworkers folks 👍

Oh yes is awesome of course total? On that one. If you want to shear angle iron then count on it becoming a radius and no longer an angle. The safety guards of course as safe as they may be hinder your line of sight. If you can't see what you're doing then you're just making scrap. I have a 60 ton Edwards in my possession there is so many engineering issues with this machine it works great if you're a novice just chunkin parts. The stroke control is proxy switches. They're so loose rigged to dial in might as well call it up 20% scrap. On the other hand if you're looking this shear parts that are going to end up being less than 3in they don't fall out of the back of machine. I mean shoot I don't think under 2 in they fall out. I had to build a custom spring loaded device in order to help get them out. The change over time between the punch and the break is lengthy. Looks pretty with all that paint please I invite you to try out mine which I'm trying to sell and having a hard time doing it. Get a Geka or a Pranha. Thank you Edwards and all your engineering teams suggestions on trying to convince me I'm a freaking idiot with 24 years experience in metal work and your gooey paint. Please y'all consider Consulting people that own these types of machinery before you ever open your checkbook for an Edwards / JMT. I'm not exactly a disgruntled customer I'm a customer that's tired of not being listened to and sold some poor quality.

Your kidding right? I’ve owned a 60 ton Edwards since new in 2010. I’ve never experienced any of your issues and I highly doubt yours is used more than ours.
