So have I, since '82 and I'm surprised you never heard of them! Are you from the US? They never really took off in the US, were bigger in the UK and Europe.
Saw Onslaught live for the first time on March 7th, 1987. They blew away every other band that night. Make sure to check out their early releases. Pure classics.
@@MrGierigegast I saw them live in 89 I think, they were great. The first album is almost punk thrash and really rough and ready, second album is slightly better produced and typical mid 80's thrash -and the third album has some cool riffs but is too long and if anything over-produced!
Looking like another classic Onslaught album is inbound!! I think this might be the first time in ages that Nige has smiled... oh wait, no, it was the makeup.
*This is Onslaught* And that's saying it all. Guys, this is so amazing. It feels just plain awesome to hear this new stuff after 7 years of wait since the release of the awesome 'VI' album. And this new stuff is so solid, so brutal and unrelenting, I feel like I'm about to explode. Just the way I like it.
Have to admit was not familiar with Onslaught but follow the label for other bands. Saw this pop up and clicked to give it a listen. You now have a new convert. Very impressed.
We miss Sy but Dave sounds as Hell !!! ONSLAUGHT sounds as HELL !!! Can't stop banging my head and will buy Cd and vinyl versions of incredible album. Thank you guys for thrash metal masterpiece of the year. Always strike fast strike HARD !!!
Got it as an d too, listened to the whole thing thinking it was in my Playlist, halfway thorigh I was like "I don't k ow this" and it was an as, still listened to it til the end
That`s some beautiful Thrash ! this Band never disappoints , awesome Guitars , Bass and Drums and the perfect Voice for Thrash/Speed-Metal .... just great !! \m/
Onslaught has released so many great albums by now and the new album seems destined for more of that greatness. This song just begs to be played live in front of a manic mosh pit!!! Come to think of it, I have never seen Onslaught live. Please come to Gothenburg when better times allow for it!!!
I was just thinking about these guys last week and wondering when they were going to release a new album. I come to RUclips and get my answer. This kicks some ass, the chorus riff just tears your head off!!
I remember hearing In Search of Sanity after a night out in Plymouth, thinking wow, what an album. Never listened to it again though as I didn't know who it was. 2 years later I came across it again and been a fan ever since. This new stuff sounds excellent, just a fresh as they did back in the early 90's
Odin's Hairy Balls but this is stonking. Cannot wait to add the new album to all the rest in my collection. Just bloody hoping that I get to see this played live before too long.
@@nigerockett1607 We've actually met some 12 years ago when you were touring for Killing Peace. I chatted a bit with you and Sy. Still have the t-shirt from the show and I've been a fan ever since. Once things get back to normal I hope you guys will tour to promote this. Respect. \m/
Sounds great! Love the chorus and the riffing is brutal. Not seen them live since they were at Hammy Odeon in 87 with Agent Steel,Nuclear Assault and Atomkraft. They were easily the best band on the night, even if Nige's guitar wasn't plugged in at the start, haha.
After doing some research on this band, I am upset that I am just now discovering them. I been a metalhead since the 80's.
these guys are the real deal.... Slayer from the UK. Killing Peace is fucking brilliant as is The Force

Finally after years, even better and pure. Onslaught we trust 🤘
Couldn't of said it better myself
I agree but would be larger after many years
7 seconds in and I already knew that this kind of music that I really loved...so glad discovering them now..

What happened to Sy? Is he ok?
This new singer sounds great by the way.....
@@nigerockett1607 damn man I bow down to you
Considering this is their first album with Dave Garnett, I am *very* impressed with the quality of this album so far.
My uncle approved it :>
He's def fitting, stays true to Sy's vocal style so Onslaught doesn't feel like a diff band.
Totally agreed!!!
Pretty sure they've worked almost everything out before Dave even joined.
Wow these are the most badass metal clowns I've ever seen. Rock on!
This is brutal if it's good metal !!
Not sure a truer song was ever written. Bow down to your Clown!
This is fantastic, just like the old days. Been a fan of Onslaught since I saw them in Dublin in McGonagles in the 80's.
Hi Robert thanks bro.. Now that's a blast from the past, i remember McGonagles very well :)

This is my fave song on the new record, which absolutely crushes from start to finish. Haven't stopped listening to it since it was released
I don't know how I got here or what led me to this song but this is fantastic
Followed these guys since the beginning, an amazing band, had the pleasure to see them live a few times.

Reminds me of Testament a bit.
I remember a children of bodom in 2003-2008 🤔🤔

Ah classic palm muting, I've missed you.
I smell an Engl Powerball?
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
It was a mix of amps. All sorts of stuff. I think Engl were in there. Me and Nige love the Engl stuff.
Not sure if Nige will read my comment but this is way better than the previous songs! Not saying the others weren't good but this is great!
