I never heard 80% of the story said in this video. This is probably highly over dramatised for RUclips video. May be half of the information was from content creator's mind. Although there is small variations of the story from place to place but there can't be so much fights in Ganesha's birth. All the scenes happened between Parvati's bath time. What i know is that Shiva tried to convince Ganesha to enter by dialogues. Because he has right to enter to his house. But he never told ganesha that it was his house and Parvati is his wife. Why should he tell a house keeper all this while entering his own house. Ganesha was also never told about his father because he was just created hours ago. So Ganesha also could not identify his father and so he didn't allow a unknown to enter house. Only after much of dialogues failed, Shiva was frustrated and launched his trident. Later when Parvati finished his bathing and said shiva that it is their son, Shiva instructed to bring the head of first creature they visit.

Parvati is in a bad condition when Parvati Devi tells everyone that Ganesh was her son, then everyone feels sad. Then Shiv ji said that he cannot connect the severed head of this child. Then Shiva orders all the deities to go and get the head of any living thing that is sleeping with its head towards the north. The gods go out to find them and they find an elephant cub sleeping with its head facing north. The gods bring his head and Shiva, by connecting that head with the body of that child with his powers, gives life back to it. This was the true story of Lord Ganesha

Often aspects of gods/goddesses spawn new gods/goddesses. Here the two shaktis spawned by Parwati were Durga( warrior aspect of Parvati) and Kali(fierce aspect of Parvati). You may want to check out Kali too(the dark skined goddess).

Now it's time that India should expand their entertainment horizon in term of exposing Hindu mythology and storyline just like Greek and other ancient mythology. I am still curious why people are not aware of Indian mythology just like other. We have sp many storyline which can fit thousand of movies..

I don't understand why they have turned the story absolutely upside down. This sounds more like a greek mythological story, Its outrageous !
1) Ganesha's head was taken from a fallen Elephant and not an alive one.
2) Ganesha had 2 tusks, but it was lost during a battle with another sage later.
3) Shiva was not involved from the beginning, but at the end.
4) Durga and Kali Avatars was only once created during Mahishasur period and never before and never later.
And there are so many other instances which I do not ally with the visuals.

Most of us don't know the story in such gory detail. We didn't know there was such a huge war to just try and kill the boy Ganesh. It sounds horrible..
The story most of us grew up with was that Parvati was bored one day and created Ganesh out of the saffron paste. Shiva was in deep meditation, and neither of them knew each other. When he arrived to meet his wife, Ganesh stopped him. And he cut off his head. It was a misunderstanding. When he found out the mistake he attached an elephant head on him and brought him back to life.

@@irhdaily and his 1 tusk break had 2diferent story one was writing vedvyash mahabharat his pen broken and they have deal with he not stop writing and ved vyas has to say story in single go so he take his tusk break and continue writing with ink and one more story is that when one parshuram has stoped by ganesh to not meet Lord shiva as he is in samadhi ye fought with him and when he through parshu on ganesh take his all in one tusk because that's parshu given by Lord shiva so he doesn't want too fight back for that in respect and this lead to break his tusk.

NOTE : An elephant had penanced to lord Shiva and asked for a boon to be his son, and lord Shiva agreed and told the elephant that he shall be his son when the right time arrives! So when the gods went in search of a head for the boy, the elephant stopped them and happily offered its head as it was his desire to be lord Shiva's son ! And that's how the boy gets an elephant's head ... ✨

Many folklores on this but the authority on this particular topic is Shiva purana, that tells the story of shiva. As long as the sequence isn’t broken, you can innovote and tell the story that you want. (Some people takes the story literally and think any slight change is distortion, well, whatever floats your boat ig )

This is the real story unlike the fiction...
Like he said,she created a son and asked him to guard the house,and when Shiva came,he was stopped,he was caught aback that a kid wasn't allowing him into his own house,and they fought then and there itself and Shiva cut his head off...,Parvati then came out to realise that her son was killed...she was in immense anger,and explained it,and Shiva only then realised that it was his son and why he was guarding the house as the boy didn't know Shiva was his father...
So Shiva regretted but assured Parvati that he would bring him back to life...
So as the elephant is one of the strongest creatures,Shiva asks his followers to bring him the head of an elephant which was facing north....and that's how it happened...

This video has a lot of flaws from the start to the end. Lord Ganesh is a powerful being when he was first brought to life, but he only has a small chunk of Goddess Parvati's powers. The Hindu trinity (Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva) along with Goddess Shakti (Goddess Parvati is a form of Shakti) are the most powerful beings in the Hindu mythology. And when it comes to weapons there is no weapon that can stop Brahma's Brahmastra, Vishnu's Sudharshan Chakra (Discus) and Shiva's trident. If they release them there is no stopping them they will destroy the target. Unless they face each other and use these weapons they will destroy the Universe according to Hindu mythology. All those gods and goddesses are trying their best to convince a boy to stop fighting over this as Lord Shiva is his mom's husband and he can enter her quarters and the order she gave doesn't apply to Shiva. Despite all the Gods trying to convince the boy he still refuses as his mom's order is absolute for him. This really made Shiva furious and released his Trident which cut his head of. There is no right or wrong in this scenario, an innocent boy who want to follow his mom's order no matter the circumstances and a loving husband who wants to see his wife.

this story has so many flows in it. half cooked for sure. Also, if you want to watch any Hindu story, never start from in between. just like any new skill, start with basic and than go for advance stuff.

Goddess Parvati created Lord Ganesha on her own so lord Shiva(Husband of Parvati)did not aware about this. So both Ganesha and Shiva did not know each other. After creating Ganesha Goddess Parvati went for long meditation and ordered Ganesha to guard the gate so that nobody can disturb her while meditation.

The real and actual story is---- Goddess Parvati goes to a dwelling cave to take a bath and there she forms the shape of a child with her udder and breathes life into it, which is named Ganesha and gives Ganesha the task of guarding the outside of the cave, so that till she Take a bath, no one can come inside. Ganesha guards outside and Shiva is coming back after doing his meditation and yoga, soon Shiva comes there because Shiva and Ganesha were unaware of each other and Ganesha did not know that Shiva His father and Parvati Devi's husband, Ganesha stops Shankar from entering. Due to which Shankar gets angry and then a war ensues between Ganesha and Shankar. Shankar ji cuts off the head of Ganesha with his trident. Then Parvati Devi comes out after taking a bath and gets very angry seeing Ganesha dead and almost She is the destroyer of the universe, only then all the gods and goddesses appear there and stop Parvati. Parvati is in a bad condition when Parvati Devi tells everyone that Ganesh was her son, then everyone feels sad. Then Shiv ji said that he cannot connect the severed head of this child. Then Shiva orders all the deities to go and get the head of any living thing that is sleeping with its head towards the north. The gods go out to find them and they find an elephant cub sleeping with its head facing north. The gods bring his head and Shiva, by connecting that head with the body of that child with his powers, gives life back to it. This was the true story of Lord Ganesha

I don't know what the sourse of his comic story's but I think he is just creating things on his own ! Shiva never attacked Ganesha from behind. But yes Lord Shiva cut off god Ganesha's head it's true. But that fighting things that words they are totally confusing my minds I have never read or heard it somewhere.

Often aspects of gods/goddesses spawn new gods/goddesses. Here the two shaktis spawned by Parwati were Durga( warrior aspect of Parvati) and Kali(fierce aspect of Parvati).

God Murugan was called God of war for a reason . He holds the divine spear VEL which was bestowed upon him by the Goddess Parvati herself, he never loses a fight. Someone made this on their POV. Murugan shouldn't be in this story when this happened because Murugan wasn't born yet. If Murugan was there, Goddess Parvati would have simply instruct her son Murugan to guard her, she wouldn't have created a new son to guard her and Murugan is younger brother of God Ganesha

Shiva Vishnu and Bhrama are not gods. They are the the eternal Powers. In Mahabharata Krishna says...that they don't have any form or structure they are even a eternal energy.
On the other hand...Krishna and Rama who born on Earth are the gods.
