  • Episode 6 of Marvel’s What If… asks the question What If Killmonger Rescued Tony Stark? First of all I guess it confirms Tony Stark would continue to be terrible unless subjected to very specific cave and heart-related conditions. It also brings in the likes of Pepper Potts, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther and the whole country of Wakanda. Thanks for watching our review!

    I may be reading too far into things, but as each episode goes by The watcher seems to get 'closer' to the universe he is watching. In the first episodes, he was just eyes in the sky. Then he became a silhouette. The past few episodes he has been shown in that universe in full color. Maybe it supports your theory that he is edging closer and closer to 'stepping in', in a more literal sense? Just a thought.

    T’Challa was Black Panther long before the events of Civil War. He didn’t inherit or start being the Panther because his father died. Since Gamora had not abandoned Thanos cause yet, she would follow his path and collect the infinity stones (that's all just a theory though).

    Poindexter here! I believe that the thing that the watcher is talking to is the watcher’s own recordings. When they watch everything throughout the universe I think they also chronicle everything that happens in the universe including a soliloquy on current events.

  • @orionng195
    @orionng195 2 года назад +7

    The universes will definitely merge - in the mid-season trailer, we see new shots of Ego with Quill, Pepper with Shuri, and some more stuff. I think the last episode will be an hour instead of 35 min, finishing up all the cliffhangers from previous episodes. One of the trailer shots shows Ultron in place of the Watcher, so maybe somehow he visits the Zombie universe to steal the Infinity Stones from Zombie Thanos, so Uatu has to intervene to stop him and take the heroes (and villains) from various universes. Just a theory though!

Like many I would like to see a follow-up to a couple of these episodes. At the same time I recognize the whole point of the show is to take a peak into different universes and see how familiar scenarios play out differently. I welcome follow-ups, but I'm also interested in seeing what other ideas the writers have in store beyond that.
