I agree 100% especially when there are friendly tanks closer to the enemy flag or their spawn where the arty would most likely be. I'd be half way across the map dogfighting a tank or two and I get slammed with an arty shell or two. Plus let's not forget that there are multiple tanks on each team and for some reason the arty is only shooting at you for half the game.
@@rl2699 Sorry buddy, but if you're half way across the map and contesting a choke point then you're the primary target for any decent arty player.
@@rl2699 Also groups of friends could affect it aswell, when i play with my platoon as an spg and they say hey target such and such for me, im usually gonna do it, unless there is a higher priority target. Theres always a reason for you being targetted. my reasons are usually you're in the open and positioned poorly so im punishing you for it, or you're threatening an important tactical position. I actually become quite frustrated when i come up against players who know what they are doing and sit in places where i can't reach them, but they are still able to contribute to the match. those are the players that dont bitch about being focused because they learnt how to cope with arties

I have a couple of friends in my friendlist who randomly decided to help me in battle. To be honest, we played many times after that random battle and after 3 years they are still there, we play for fun and it's really nice when there is teamwork involved.

Funny would have been clueless idiot driving where QB ping spammed and was dead on the next ridge in twenty seconds, and common.
The amazing part was after just a few words typed and a "few" map pings, this dude rocked the enemy with no tangible support from QB.

Hey QB, I stopped playing WOT like half a year ago. No specific reason, just other things that interest me. I randomly looked in my Twitch directory and somehow ended up on your stream (must also be more than half a year I last watched). Shortly after I tuned in, this happened. Really was a "special" moment and I watched until the end of your stream.
I had a rough day QB. This video made me smile. Glad you had such a great experience, games like this make all the frustrating games worth it.

You are a stand-up guy. Ive never seen you not being humble and grateful and its refreshing. I will continue to watch your videos because even though they are highly informative, the guy making them is just a good person and that counts hugely in my world.
Other players don't always know what you are thinking when you pin the map. They don't see your sixth sense comes on and hp going down. So instead of pinning the map, please express it in chat. Sometimes I just got people pinning the map indefinitely and it isn't always clear what they want.
Your right, it is more effective; but just inefficient, especially if in situations where something needs to be done quickly and typing might take 2 long; thus, u pin the map hoping they understand.
Tbh, I think WG needs to come a with a system, wherein the chat, they in a drop-down box.
Like;
Enemy at your flank
Right/Left flank in falling (This would also be better in colour, as not everyone pays attention to minimap)
Can.. (Option to select a player in the allies list) scout the...(Option to select the tank in the enemy list)
Arty relocate; enemy inbound (Possibly in colour/ JUST FOR ARTIES MAYBE)
In addition, WG could give the option for a player to prepare words they can use in chat; and I this would be a great feature, in combination with the already known words i.e. affirmative, negative, SOS, etc. (which sometimes aren't specific enough)
BTW, let know your opinions and any limitations do think this feature might have

Decent players understand, and bad players will have turned off chat anyway.

Some time ago QB made a video where he was tier 8, locked down by a few enemies, and an ARL came in hull down like a fucking boss and killed all of them, saving QB's ass. THAT was epic. THAT guy was an absolute legend.

This brings me back to the earlier days of WoT, I used to play it A LOT more together with my brother and a friend of ours who got us hooked on this game. That friend watched a certain WoT youtuber a lot and quickly he became a 2nd QB to us. A unicorn who was there to guide us to victory, even though the screw up did from time to time the heavy lifting. In all these years you have taught me, my friends and I believe many others soooo much about WoT and thanks to that I can still enjoy the game up to this day. So I want to give you a massive thank you for your years of contributing to this community.

He does that at the start of a lot of videos. He doesn't want to talk until the tank commander finishes his line so if its a long sentence from the tank voice QB kind of 'head dances' until its finished. Its odd but that's QB =P

I agree, nothing like finding someone in a games that says follow me, let’s go this way, and then make a difference in the game. That 7 mins of connecting, working together is what it’s all about. So many now want to go off on there own just to make a kill or try something different. Stay in groups, work together, have fun. Nice stream quicky.
Somewhere along the 5 years playing WOT I've experienced real teamwork with random players a few times. I think QB should promote it (Teamwork in randoms) regularly and trow some gifts
Yeh man it's a rare event you get someone to work with you in WoT (other than being on your clan comms) but when they agree and you work together, things turn out really well most times. Great stuff.

I actually never heard of claus kellerman before QBs trip to the USA. He never even appeared in my video suggestions even though I watch quite a few WOT videos from different channels.

You have a lot of fans here in the US, for us, the mindset is "this guy is a challenge for us, let's shut him down or he will shut us down". It wasn't just hating or trolling on you, it was because we love you. I know it's strange to think of it that way, but we have a different mindset here. And as a side note, that was amazing what you did for your teammate and fan. You made that lads day, well done.

Good Show man. SO happy to see this. Had a player from another clan pick me up in my stream the other day. The other clan and ours doesn't exactly get along, but we totally wrecked face and gave my viewers game after game of good streaming content. We ended up being friends and I look forward to playing with him more in the future. He is a much better player than me "stat wise" so it was a lot of fun to roll with him. Hopefully the rest of our clans can follow suit and "bury the hatchet" so to speak :)

Kind of like King Solomon asking only for wisdom, not riches or fame! And Quickybaby, I find it is always close to a miracle when there is actual teamwork on a random team! I once played with a Russian gentleman who for some reason happened to be playing on the North American server. He was a great teammate, polite, and we worked together to help our team win. I had to use Google translator to communicate with him after the match, but it was a special game that I will remember.

To be fair when people are giving "advice" in wot it's usually one of 3 things:
1. Most frequent case: A total noob is giving the advice and everyone knows it's bullshit
.
2. A redline camper wants you to spot at all cost for him even if he knows just as well as you do that it's a suicide mission.
3. someone frustrated that he just lost his tank on the flank no one else went to wants you to take the same route so you can win the game go down with him
Honest and usefull advice in WOT is just as rare as people who would listen to it.
You people aren't the first to say first!
This video was an absolute pleasure. Those moments are why I play these games. I've had a few unexpected friends and awesome teamwork moments. Those are always the best regardless of outcome.

The IS-4 needs a buff, sure. But dropping it to tier 9? No. Extra degree of gun depression (or 2), bump the rate of fire to give it an extra 100 dpm or so, and tweak the ground resistances a little
Or give it a new gun instead of that gun that you can also get on the tier 9 heavy tanks

Not in NA, even though we had the On Track missions for the Italian line the last few weeks. :\
Along the same lines, I tooned up with a Clan mate for the first time awhile on Saturday night for a few hours. It was the best games of WoT that I've had in a few months. Win or lose; we had a great time, and did pretty well in most of the games. Always nice when the game surprises you with something special like this.

Alpha Niner 252u isnt op in randoms but in sh a bit in some maps. But nowadays theres so good tanks that it isnt so good anymore

That is awesome. I love picking up a random for a platoon because I NEED them to perform something and then just syncing perfectly.
the thing is that your playstyle is repetitive and easy to guess once someone has seen a few of your streams.
i bumped into you once in a battle in the same team on mines with my m46 and we got stuck in a rather difficult situation and i knew what you wanted me to do without you ever pinging the map
nor saying anything in chat. it's the ''what would quickybaby do?'' mentality
Most good players play a certain way because each map demands a certain basic strategy due to terrain and features.
Circon, Foch, and QB all use similar tactics. They're all better than avg because of how they react to the situation, not because they pick a certain spot on the map.
Your decision to help QB says more about your situational awareness and willingness to work as a team than it does to highlight any perceived shortfall of QB's playstyle.
Perhaps if you (and others) did this with people who's name isn't Quickfingers, more games could be victories.
This is really a feel-good story, which is fitting to everything that you do on your streams and videos. Not many streamers would even notice this guy and what he did, so big kudos to the quickybaby!

I really like it when you get to see the more... human side of people. So many creators out there put on a persona, which makes sense really - I don't judge them for it, but the thing I like about QB is that he has this more friendly, likable side, and it's nice to see it in videos like this when it shows that it's a sincere trait of his personality. He just seems like an absolute lad. It's nice to see people like that in a game with such a toxic community. And that of course goes for the guy featured in this video as well. Rock on, mate!
When you're spotted in a corner, can not move, have no HP, and artillery is about to finish you, just use someone else's tank to fix things.
QB you may be playing video games on the internet but you live through your passion, it is a real job - it is YOUR real job. Please don't think that you're... whatever you think you are, you give fun to a huge community and the least we can do as a reward is to allowing you to live by the fun you give us.
