Neat little truck, great to see it come alive again.Over the years I had several of those Jap mini trucks,2 Datsuns,2 Toyotas ,3 Couriers, and a 4wd Chevy Luv.The Chevy Luv 4wd was the best one by far.

I like the 521 series Datsun/Nissan trucks the very best.

Would have loved to get a little truck like this when I was living in Murfreesboro Tennessee. I coukd have used it. Wish these little trucks were still being manufactured to this very day today, we need them. Gasoline prices are up to 5 follars a gallon these days.

It was great to meet you at Cars and Coffee yesterday. The sticker looks great on the beetle. Best of luck with all of your projects and I’ll see you at the next one. -Brian

easy fuel pump jump: Just bridge the hot buss and the acc buss in the fuse blocks with an alligator clip. Your pump looked to have way too much pressure, should like under 4psi. These eat head gaskets: make sure you retorque your head bolts after it gets hot to hot spec and readjust valves .012/.012 at valve (.009 at cam) shell run another 10 years.

A lot of helpful info for anyone else working on one of these!
The fuel tank was rotted out, so I threw in a whole new system so there was no chance of any junk getting into the carb.
