I have damage to the bank of pins that you remove at the beginning, due to humidity it has corroded and generates poor contact Where can I get that part?
The battery cannot be the reason. Have you pushed the 2 connector (PCB sides) well together? Are the tiny antennas connected? These 2 would be my bets with high probability.
