I'm pleased the Hexmark is seeing some play. I was discussing his abilities with a buddy that plays Guard, and he thinks it's an underappreciated unit. Yeah it'll look silly against Custodes, but it will absolutely blend Eldar, Kasrkin, Hearthkyn, and many other units that cost far more it. Just wiping a single squad of Imperial Guard makes his points back, and that's before you talk about his potential for scoring. Definitely excited to play one soon!

Three units if Heavy Destroyers with 2 Enmitic Annihilators (Anti-infantry) and 1 Gauss Destructor (Anti-Armor).

It urks me so much that doomsday arks still do D6 damage. Actually so stupid, make it d3+3 like every other fucking thing in the game.

@@adenahmadi3212 the bigger problem with doomsday arks is that they get heavily penalized for moving. I could live with the D6 if their profile wasnt reduced when moving.

@@Khobai agreed. Both the ark and doomstalker should be big enough to move and fire that gun without penalty. They're not infantry. D3+3 should be the damage profile though, at minimum. Though I one day hope that something called a doomsday cannon would actually feel like world-ending damage.

@Khobai so your saying against transhuman and possibly -1 damage, your comfortable spending 270 points and 2 CP every time this unit fires to maybe kill 3 or 4 gravis marines?
Keep in mind this 270 point unit will be exposed after doing so, probably with no invuln save, after killing maybe 150 points.
Now, if your running them with the SK to soften up units for him to kill, you've committed over 25% of your points to that with the SK slogging up at 8' a turn so your not veiling until turn 3 or 4. GL keeping all of that alive with multiple units ignoring ivulns and moving 2x as fast.

The Necron Codex is the worst written book in 9th. As a faction they're ok, but the fact that the Monolith has core is extremely funny.
