Sheree, okay first how dreadful that you wouldn't normally buy purple fabric 😂😂😂😂💜💜💜. So brilliant that you thought to make a duffle bag to take your extra items home in. You look so cute in your sweater with all the pins. That pink and blue satin back crepe 8s STUNNING 💕💕. I also love the fabric from Fabrictopia, I'm not a fan of the Fabrictopia here in Houston but I may go to look for that pink embroidery fabric. CONGRATULATIONS 🎊 on your new Pfaff, so awesome. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I know I’m so sorry friend! I do occasionally sew garments that are blue with a hint of purple or that lean purple but when I have true purple garments they don’t get worn. Funny thing is that purple was my favorite color as a child. I hope you can find this crepe back satin in Houston. It is beautiful ❤️.

Was the pattern hard
The duffle bag pattern was not hard at all. It is tricky getting the zipper on with the thickness of the quilted fabric but if you serge or zigzag stitch the edge before putting the zipper on that will help.
