No, I think it came from the fabric store dot com. The one that closed down. I bought it years ago. But they do have black linen rayon at Joann that is lovely. I’ve bought several other colors.

I’ve only heard good things about Cashmerette so I definitely have to try one of their patterns out. I also LOVE the gingham dress so much, and I think it’s beautiful how your son wanted to make his teacher a bag ❤ Love all your makes!

May indeed try Indie Stitch soon. Wanted to share a tip my sewing machine guy told me, as I was having problems with my bobbins too. He had me slow down the winding, And I do that now, and haven’t had a bobbin break or any other problems since. Hope that helps, breaking bobbins is frustrating. That Polly top made me smile, it was all the rage in the 70’s, and I have some older patterns to remake them!

I’ve been sewing and not posting lately and have been super overwhelmed with what i’ve already sewn that needs to be posted and the things I need to sew! That skirt pattern must be really old. I haven't seen that one. Love it!!! Perfect skirt and tank combos. Oh my goodness!!! The Roseclair Dress is one of my favorite wrap dress patterns. I completely agree with you. I made two versions and it definitely is easy and straightforward. I would not have been able to tell that the bottom tier was made with a different fabric if you didn't point it out, at least not in photos. I would love to make a top as well. Well done. The Fabric Godmother version is sooo good. It has cup sizes, a placket that provides coverage under the ties, a sleeveless version and skirt pattern pieces (for Sheree). The drafting is excellent and the instructions are great!

That is a nice printer. How much can you print with the one cartridge of ink? How much is the ink cartridge? 15:38
I’m not sure but here is the link to a cartridge and photo paper bundle. amzn.to/3VpqRIU If you click on the link in the description you can probably find that information there. So far I have printed 20 photos and still have plenty of ink.

Sheree how did you shrink your pictures to print on paper?
I actually did this on my iPhone. If you have an Apple iPhone or ipad, open a blank Pages sheet. There is an icon on the top right to add an image. You click it and it will take you to your photos. Select a photo and it will paste to your Page. On the corners of the picture there is a dot that you can use to resize your image. That’s what I used to shrink the image. All of the images were screen shots of patterns on simplicity website or indie pattern websites. Hope this all made sense.
I think you can also copy and paste photos into a Pages document
Wow!!! Sheree those look like jeans you picked up at a store, they look so professional. I was ready for you to have the pattern number for the top, only to realize you made the JEANS!!! Gets me every time, I think it’s manic that you make your own jeans!

Thank you for your review. I have the pattern, even made a toile of the top and was wondering if I should actually make it. Now I know that I would be very frustrated making it. It’s not you struggling, it’s the pattern…it’s for flat chested skinny models! Yours looks gorgeous by the way, and you have a lovely body. But I’m similar and I’m so glad I watched this.
