Great makes! My favorite look is the camouflage pants and red blouse and denim sneakers. I never would have thought of pairing those colors, but it does look great!
Really enjoyed your podcast! The 4 pants and your styling look very polished. Also like that you had your pants pressed and on a hanger. You kept referencing your job and I am curious as to what your job is.😊
Hello, thank you so much. I am an Early Childhood Educator & Child Care Provider. 😁 I’ve had my RUclips channel for so long. I forget that some people are seeing me for the first time. I’ve mentioned my occupation in many videos over the years. I guess I should give more context when I mention my work. Thank you for the reminder. Thank you for your lovely comment.
you've made so many great pants! My opinion on VikiSews: I think that their ratings are accurate if you consider them as applicable within the brand. i haven't made those pants, but looking at the design details intermediate seems correct to me, as their patterns labeled advanced are often jackets/coats with true tailoring techniques, or things like wedding gowns or evening dresses. even their beginner patterns can be overly complicated in my opinion, but otoh they usually produce really excellent finished results. so i think it's a manner of managing your expectations. i probably wouldn't recommend the brand to true beginners at all but more to those starting at an advanced beginner level, but that's just my opinion.
Thank you for sharing. That actually makes a lot of sense. Wedding gowns?! 🤯 This is my second VikiSews pair of pants and I have to say…. You’re right about the pattern instructions being overly complicated. I have one more Jean pattern of hers that I have yet to sew but I do plan on giving it a try. I’m praying that it is more enjoyable than this pair.
@@ShereeThomas30 i've learned to either sew their patterns when i'm in the mood for a challenge, or ignore the instructions unless there's something really tricky going on. i've only sewn one pattern of theirs that they rated "advanced" but it had welt pockets with french seams and hoo-boy, that was no joke.
Good morning, Sheree!! I am up sewing early this morning! I love your pant selections... I really like the Papercut pattern the oversize style jeans...that look is so on trend. I love Vikisews their designs are different and they are tall height friendly. Your camo pants look great! Your hair is absolutely gorgeous! I love ❤️ the front cut...the bangs. Have a good day and happy sewing!
Thank you so much Patricia! I love the look of all the VikiSews patterns! They are always on trend. They’re just so complicated. I have a few more of her patterns that I have yet to sew up but I will. Thanks for the compliment! I’m definitely trying to get used to my new haircut. I think I might go shorter next time. We shall see.
Great work on all of these. Everything looks RTW! I am STILL staling on my cut-out Vicky Sews cargos. It was so overwhelming to consider! I love yours with the black top and Chucks.
Thank you! Just go ahead and give it a try. Especially since the project is already cut. Just take your time making them. My biggest problem is that I often try to sew projects all in one sitting but if I were to just break the project up over a couple of days, they would be less overwhelming. Once you have completed the cargo pants, let me know what you thought about the instructions.
Excellent makes! I love them all and would totally rock them! I love the red shirt and black shirt equally with the cargo pants. It’s definitely giving!!! And honey… the curls are poppin’ 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽! You look beautiful! 💋 ❤Tfs!
Nice looking collection of pants! Thank you for the inspiration. The style of pockets on the barrel jeans seems to look off center on other patterns. Another example is the Chalk and Notch Isle jeans. I like your suggestion to use matching topstitching to make the placement seem less off center.
You are absolutely right about the Chalk and Notch Isle jeans. I totally forgot about that pattern, it was on my list to make at one point. I like the flare view but again, the pocket placement would drive me crazy. I think I’ll try the other pockets on my next version of the barrel leg jeans pattern and use matching thread.
I love that waistband construction technique! 😆 I feel like it hides more sewing sins than doing it the other way around 😅 Interesting about he topstitching on the front pockets I probably wouldn't have noticed but now that you mention it, it would bother me too!
I am with you on printing the directions because I always leave myself notes!
Congratulations on your new family member. I love your makes
Thank you!!!
Love your hair too!❤ the cargo pants are really awesome even though they were challenging-they look great on you!
Thank you so much!! 😊
I’m so excited for a deep dive on the sera pants! I really want to make them!

Exactly. I'm learning the 30 minute sewing technique from Brittany J Jones

Brilliant pants review thank you!! Looking forward to the Sera deep dive as I love those having made the Bobs. Such a great shape ❤
I really like them. I think you will enjoy that project. ❤️
