The black wrap looks the nicest out of all of them.
Looks pretty sick but I think I still prefer the bare stainless look. Both are rad though. The one thing with this truck is if you don’t like it stainless it has to be the easiest vehicle produced to wrap what with there being no curves or trim pieces/door handles. Literally just straight edges and flat panels everywhere.

Expensive stuff can be poor quality. The interior looks very modern. It has that large car computer screen and everything.

I'm glad to see this video, because I couldn't find anything that showed inside of it. No reels or videos on Instagram or anything which was weird to me.....
Black wrap looks nice. A lot of the interior surfaces looked ‘well used’; wonder if the materials they’ve chosen will hold up over time. Shame the rear view isn’t a camera, but I guess you’d do most of that via the screen anyway.
Just saw another channel supposedly they're going to offer an accessory camera mirror. Which would make sense because if you're fine with it being on the center screen the rear view image then you wouldn't want to spend more to have the camera in the mirror. It'll be interesting to see if they do actually indeed offer it and how much it is. But it's going to be a Tesla accessory apparently.

It's an absolutely diabolical vehicle with hardly any features or look of comfortability or luxury about it. The fact the guy had to point out features such as buttons for electric windows and trim lighting as if it was a world first should tell you everything you need to know.

Epoxy paint is the preferred coating system for stainless steel. It requires additional preparation and care over that of water based and oil based paints, however they are extremely tough and durable, and if applies correctly have excellent paint adhesion.

Does the rear window come down in the base camp version where you can use the car’s climate controls for the big tent? 😅 Seems unlikely and lots of energy wasted but would be cool though 😂
It does not come down.
So it's inflatable, which means it's insulated. So they might have a sneaky vent connecting the two.

Glass is one of the heaviest things in vehicles. I've always wondered why tesla puts so much glass in its vehicles. I'm mainly talking about the roof.
Saw one in person the other day. Definitely a head turning vehicle but not because of its attractive look. The owner said he waited 5 yrs to get it.

The bullet resistance isn't intentional. Its a side effect of the hardness and tensile strength of the steel plates. So, everything made out of that caliber of steel will resist bullets up to 9mm. And this truck happens to be fully made of the stuff.

Got more info from your short posting than from the entire delivery event. I felt that after all of the hype leading up to tonight's event, the (actual) event turned out to be something of a damp squid. Not very Tesla like at all, and Elon seemed particularly nervous. His delivery was quite stilted, perhaps after the shocked reception he received at the product reveal four years ago, he wasn't at all sure how tonight's event would pan out.
Despite being advertised as starting at 8pm, Elon didn't bother rocking up until 25 mins past and was done and dusted 25 mins later.
To be honest, the final Cybertruck is way smaller and its specs are way lower than the prototype seen in the reveal years ago, so I guess he preferred to keep things vague so haters wouldn't roast him so badly. And I really wanted to see its off road specs.

Personally, I thought that a twenty-five minute event after all of the who-ha leading up to last night's delivery shindig was marginally disrespectful to the attendees, many of whom had travelled considerable distances from all over the continent, paid for accommodation, food, etc, only to find out that what they'd gone out out of their way, and out of pocket for, was basically an infomercial and little else. A twenty minute speech from Elon & a five minute mere handful of customer in-person deliveries was pretty lame; and I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Teslateer!
One would've thought that after 4yrs of excruciating R&D, Tesla would have been keen to have done everything in their power to convert those million or so pre-orders into actual
sales; many of those on the list probably remain just as baffled as to what's (actually) on offer as you & I.

If you see the reveal event, the truck was one head taller than Musk, whereas the final product is about as tall as his nose. The reveal also said that the bed would be 4+ feet by 8+ ("large enough to lay a sheet of plywood with some room to spare"), whereas the product is 4 by 6. You can totally lay a double mattress in it and close the tailgate, but you would transport plywood with the gate open. The overall truck must be 3 to 4 feet less lengthy, a foot narrower and another foot shorter.
And it is good: the prototype was a larger-than-life road hog, whereas the final product is the size of a modern pickup truck.
And coming in late to the party is a good thing on itself: "I don't need to outrun the wolves; I only need to outrun you." Its specs are better than the Rivian, the Hummer and the Lightning. We now need to see how it holds in real world.
@TheHumanNacho I think that this F150 Lightening is better in specs and overall utility. The CYBRTRK sloping tonneau cover is more of a form over function feature when it comes to potential secure storage capacity since the slope means cutting storage in ½. However, I do concur wholeheartedly with your point about real-world performance.
Was disappointed to note that range was nowhere the touted 500 mileage for the top spec variant as was originally mentioned at the product reveal 4yrs ago. This isn't to say it had to be exactly 500 miles; from prototype to R&D to production ready versions is quite some journey, but a 400+ wouldn't have been totally unreasonable given towing for any vehicle is a juice guzzler.
Either way, I wish Tesla every success given all of the excruciating hard work that's gone into bringing it to market.
@@pinkelephants1421The sloped cover on the CT actually provides more volume than a horizontal cover on the horizontal bed sides of most trucks.
If you want additional cargo volume, a canopy or shell can be fitted to the Cybertruck to provide the same cargo volume as on any other pickup truck.
Best for some people to take a geometry class.
