This is the best video by far in sketchup for me very clear explanation and I love how you keep the drawing steady not moving it back and forth so I can understand what you are doing. Thank you so much.
Thank you. This is the best video I've seen on how to do interior elevations for my Sketchup models. I will definitely keep this as a reference.
'SU'per helpful ;-). I am not a Pro. SketchUp is a hobby that has gotten out of hand. Everything I create myself, I design in Sketchup. This started with simple things. Now I am redrawing my house and I plan my renovations myself. Have already saved a lot of money.
Thank for all your tutorial ,i easily understand everything you teach ☺️
Really a pleasure following your tutorial videos. It does help a lot, thank you.

You've got some gorgeous blues
Lol - at 4:30 AM when I'm filming, there's almost as much red as blue... :)
You're amazing Justin, I love the detail you go over and you are a great instructor!! Thank you so much for your help. Building a custom house build here in B.C. I am a builder but I also create and produce powerful visuals using sketchup and enscape 3d for my customers so that they don't have to guess about what they are getting, your videos have largely helped me with my progress. Thank you!!
Hi Tucker! Thanks so much for the comment! Really glad you're finding the videos helpful!
Hey, I was going to ask you a question. I'd really like to know if it's possible to merge a 3d object to a 2d face. For example, I have all these windows cut out and a face wrapped around it which I texture with my desired texture. I'm using plusspec to create windows and doors on walls. Anyways, how can I create a 3d siding for example that I found a corrugated metal siding from the 3d warehouse and now I want to apply that 3d texture to the surface of my building and automatically wrap around the windows and doors. Than I can take a corregated metal siding texture and resize it to fit the 3d siding... Is that possible. I'm just trying to figure out how to create quick 3d siding.
Also, I just sent you some dough on Paypal, since you help me out so much with your videos. When I start doing well with my business I'll aim to put in more support. Hoping to hear back about the question I just asked above.
Thanks for the support! I really appreciate it - In the case of what you're talking about, I'm not sure if what you're looking for quite exists. You may want to check this video out - ruclips.net/video/yZ5bVL4HNU4/видео.html - You could create the texture along the surface, then cut openings in your texture to match the doors and windows...Let me know if this helps a bit
Thank you.
Very Very useful video!
Thanks!
I love your vids
GREAT ! BUT HOW TO EXACTLY PLACE THAT SECTION CUT LINE ON FLOOR PLAN ?
i want to know how to draw floor plan (staircase sofa...) in layout 2017 and export to do 3d in sketchup 2017
Thnkkkk youuu❤❤
Welcome 😊
I have placed the camera and dragged forward instead of using section plane but when I take it into layout and change from raster to vector it shows all lines behind the camera. I'm using sketchup layout 2016, is there anyway to sort this?
I created interior view using Position Camera tool. When I convert it to Vector in Layout it shows all of the model, as though the camera is located outside of the bldg. (similar to wireframe). Is there a workaround? The drawing has to be in vector, raster is too blurry for professional blueprints.
This video is very helpful. May I know Sketchup 2017 Pro also can do like this ?
Did you try it?
Hey Justin,
Sketch up seems like an amazing tool. My company is asking me to look into whether we should upgrade to it. I’ve seen a lot of videos about it but it seems to be missing one thing we would need. Automatic 2d elevations of kitchen/laundry and bathroom walls. To give you some context we do kitchen/bathroom and other remodeling. Cabinetry and countertops. Therefore we require 2d elevations to show our installers. Any help or clarification would be much appreciated.
Hi Justin I decided to follow your sequence of videos for the apartment build, however I cant seem to find the total video sequence(complete numbered vids)m looked on the web site but didnt see them, could I get the titles of the sequential chronological series?
Hi Wayne - here you go - they're all in this playlist - ruclips.net/video/aXS7D6lqusk/видео.html - Thanks!
Are you still offering sketchup online course, if yes whare can I watch your course description?
Does anyone know why my objects downloaded from the 3D warehouse aren’t showing in certain styles? Thank you
I searched for manual sections because i m in 1st year and my project in a studio apartment but i have drawn many elevations but there are still some walls left so can i draw just those wall or the whole elevation . ?
I don't understand what you're asking...
I have found the view method of creating internal elevations doesn't work if "vector" is selected in layout. Would love to know a workaround here.
Interesting - I'll have to go back and check - I was pretty sure I'd done this in Vector mode before, but maybe I'm mistaken
How do I make a legend in the layout ?
Please add the sequence of lectures! its difficult to find videos sequentially
Here you go - they should all be in order in this playlist - ruclips.net/video/NbGsYtYjJlg/видео.html
You are very good at this BUT is it possible to not having music in the background? English is not my language and Sketchup is new for me, to add music as well is to much. Thanks!
Newer videos don't have music
