    Your grandfather has always been ine of my hero’s. Watching him on tv and reading articles in National Geographic, what an extraordinary human being. Lucky you to be his grandson. ❤😊

      One of my greatest oceanographic memories was watching Life Aquatic on a research ship.

    I grew up with Jasques Cousteau and became a water rat. However, he also taught me to leave wildlife alone: an otter that befriended his crew along the coast of California was killed by fishermen soon after they had left. He had trusted humans too much.
