- The JuJu Baetis is one of the most effective baetis patterns fished today. I am using an AFF N304 hook (straight-eye, 2x-short, 3x-wide scud/emerger hook.
Check them out at www.allenflyfishing.com.
Charlie Craven knocked it out of the park with this fly. Using new and innovative tying materials, this has now become a true fish catching fly. Try tying this pattern using different colors of super hair such as olive/brown, black/white and burnt orange/black.

Ryan,
This is a brilliant pattern, and a very professionally presented video. Project Healing Waters, hooray! Nice work, folks.
excellent tie! GOD BLESS ALL THOSE who served this united states.
Yes. It’s extremely well tied. Almost as good as Charlie’s. I bought his book. And his book is really something. Thanks for this wonderful fly.
Excellent job Ryan. Great video, very well done.
Beautifully done.
Solid tie with good technique!
Lovely tie. May I ask what type of lighting and camera setup you are using. Fantastic light, clarity and macro set up.
Nice Pattern. What size works best for baetis t. in Northeast? How do you fish it? Dropper? Indicator? Behind a dry?
Nice fly, Did you change your camera angle after securing in the tail. It appeared as though you were tying away from you, and then it appeared as if you were tying towards you. Since the only thing that could account for this, I figured you changed where your camera was. Is this true, or did you change directions mid stream? I know you didn't do that. All the best, Sean
Oh yeah. I sub’d you.
Looking for Super Hair. The original straight hair not the crinkle style?
Why white thread. It gets completely covered. Why not black all the way?
