Another cracking video, learnt more from watching your videos the last few days than I have combined from all other videos I've watched.
Finally a break in the weather where I am, be out a few times this week trying your methods.
    Thankyou 💪🏼

    Hi Patrick,
I would agree with you that lighter leaders make for more successful fishing hookups, though it's not the poundage but the diameter of the fluorocarbon that's most important. I've found that lots of the common brands available are pretty thick diameter for the breaking strain, 0.40mm at 20lbs.
Finding 15lb fluoro in 0.30 mm or less is difficult but possible.
I enjoy your blog posts greatly, with real insight into the elements of bass fishing.
I live in a relatively rubbish area for lure fishing, but this year has been extremely poor.
All the best on the health front.
    Cheers.
    Martin.

I agree, I fish 12lb and 15lb leaders and 16lb braid tied with the alberto knot works for me it gives more animation to my lightly weighted soft plastics

Does it make much difference using braid and floro instead of mono ? Anytime I try to use braid I always seem to struggle with wind knots and tangles so I always change back to mono

Learn to use braid properly, it will completely change your fishing for the better.

its probably yoyur reel. To fish braid you need at least a stardic otherwise the line lay will cause wind knots.
