I’m all for the awd but v6 turbo like old gn or cyclone or typhoon
Car stuff starts at 2 minute mark. Past all the gibber gabber.
It honestly sounds the same as when I paid someone $80 to do a muffler delete. I'd have to hear it in person
Yeah pretty much, that's why I changed them to 14" mufflers while adding a 3rd muffler in place of the resonator now. It droned WAY too much lmao
So you kept the resonators and deleted the mufflers right
Awesome car. I know because I have a 2015 LTZ - but it doesn't sound good enough to be worth ruining my in-cabin music experience. Just my opinion.
When you turn up the music you can honestly barely hear the exhaust. Especially with the windows up lol.
Get a sit in back seats and let someone drive it u will hear exhaust in while driving
They could have put a 5.7 v8 in this car .
Niceee
Wow!
Still no one has attempted to swap a V8 in it🤔
David White working on LS swapping my 2017
@@cjriskydksh6500 Are you serious? could you make a video that would be awesome man.
I have a 2015 LTZ and that baby is nice with the 20s... Not sure if I want to modify the muffler. If so, I just want a little roar not sounding like a roaring lion because he hasn't eaten anything lol
WTF???? I got flowmasters mufflers on my 2013 Chevy Impala LTZ that roar much deeper than that son. I didn't spend a fortune changing out all of the factory piping to achieve that sound either. Seems like you wasted your 💰. All that needs to be done is changing out the mufflers with the right series muffler for your 3.6L engine and you will get the same or better results. Changing out all that piping is a waste of 💰 that can be better spent in other places hyping up the car.
I changed the piping for better flow and the magnaflows sound just fine to me after they broke in. It's all personal preference. I paid next to nothing for it as well since I work at a custom exhaust shop. Hard to waste money when it barely cost anything.
Chatman Shellman Dude at Advanced Auto Parts just told me the same thing💯💯
Impalas should be silent unless its trimmed out like a race car
I want mine to snap, crackle and pop
Sounds really ricey...i always hated magnaflow, should've went with Flowmaster, prolly wudve sounded better
The funny thing is I actually forgot to weld the y-pipe all the way around so it wasn't reaching the mufflers lmao. But you're right, I added in a 3rd round magnaflow muffler in place of the resonator and it really helped with the drone/ricey sound. Luckily I work at an exhaust shop so I could always change it to flowmaster or flo-pro max for some more baffling lmao.
Gm really needs to listen to their long time and new customers. This car should have been the impala ss with a v8 and rear wheel drive . Keep making the v6 and 4 cylinder options for the people that didn't want the v8. 2020 was the last year for the impala. Bad move gm
It would have sounded a lot better if they made the Impala in the V8 engine if I owned this car as it is with a V6 V 3.6 . I would have left the exhaust stock and not change a thing leave it to the regular sound that it is. No offense to the video and the person of what he done to his car but if it was me I would leave it stock with two double exhaust that's good enough for me.
Weak. I don’t know why they will not make a V-8 version of this car with the camaro engine and transmission 🤷🏾♂️
That’s it. Imma make my new impala with a LS3 and turn it into a RWD car. No matter 70k to do it.
Damn
The sound itself is nice but for that size car....not a food fit
Magnaflow sucks get a better brand or get a better header delete Rez and cat or get custom straight pipe from a muffler shop with a rocket or split rocket tip and 93 tune it
Sounds nice inside. Outside.... it sounds like a tractor
Sound cool bro. But Chevy's are money pits 😫
I've heard this about every car on the market, ever. I had a Maxima, same thing. I had a BMW 328i, same thing.
Go to my page and check out my 2018 Chevy Impala with mufflers and resonator delete then tell me what u think
Not a v8 tho
No Way....
tha fuq sounds like you tried to make a fart can on it and failed. so its kinda in beteewn shit and fart can
What's the point of it sounding good if it's still slow.
Doesn't sound good to me. Glad I watched though, at least I know what not to buy
Sounds terrible lol. Not your fault, it's just the unfortunate reality of a V6
That's why I put the resonator back in and put bigger mufflers in it lol. It doesn't sound as bad now but I agree, after owning a Crown Vic, nothing beats a V8 sound
Sounds like shit you should straight pipe and change out the header delete the Rez and cat
Talk to much
That's why I put in the timestamp :)
You dont want to hear people talk stay the hell off RUclips
No no
Major fail.. Waste of money
Sucks
