A new adventure for Chief Inspector Dover, Scotland Yard's most unwanted man - and his long-suffering 'gofer', Sergeant MacGregor. MacGregor takes leave to return to Glasgow for the funeral of an old flame. But was her death a tragic accident or foul play? Reluctant to leave London as usual, Dover heads north to help his grief-stricken colleague find out the truth.

That thumping music after the episode finished is really unnecessary- very distracting when you're falling asleep to the story. Otherwise, appreciate you uploading the episode.

Well this was originally a BBC Radio 4 Afternoon play, I know because that's when I first heard all the Inspector Dover plays.

@@TruckingTrev it’s put in by the uploader so RUclips can’t scan it for copyright, the music throws off the copyright detection somehow.

Next time you put up a story, usr a clean recoding. Using an old music deck makes you cheap.

The uploader has no control over the dialogue. You'd be better off looking for a different series. (BBC4's 'Detective' is pretty decent.)
