- The 2008 Dodge Viper marks the beginning of the 4th Generation. Now with 600hp, this V10 snake is as dangerous & raw as ever!

As an owner.
Do not be afraid of the car. Being afraid of it is what will get you killed.
Listen to it, pay attention and this car is a downright pleasure to drive and very predictable.
The powerband is very smooth. So while "raw" it is a predictable power curve and delivery. Inspires confidence, for those that are paying attention.
The interior is similar to other cars in its class, just not as covered in fake leather. Great seats though.
The pedal box is not as narrow, nor as slanted, as everyone says it is.
I occasionally drive in steel-toe work boots and I have never clipped the brake pedal, and rarely clip the clutch pedal while coming off the dead pedal.
I would point out that due to the size of the tires, it will try to follow all the various road defects, sometimes called tramlining.
It is a very stiff suspension, so potholes or other larger dips, bumps or cracks should be avoided for the smoothest ride.
No, you won't go into a wall the second you hit one, unless you were already doing something crazy.
The AC works, but it does get tired fairly quickly as it just simply gets over-powered by the amount of heat built up by the engine and exhaust system.
Do not put run flats on this car. Do not put cheap tires on this car. Do not drive on old tires.
Yea, never had any issues with mine trying to kill me either. Most fun car I have ever driven.
When I test drove mine, I felt every bit of what you said. I was legitimately scared of it at first and the stories didn’t help.
Now that I know the car, I understand it demands respect but it is also perfectly balanced and incredibly grippy and capable. I freaking love this car!
I want one so bad, I would daily it for sure. I already daily a monster so this would just be another type of monster for me lol.
👍🏼
I'm with you on that. Currently pushing a 2011 P71 with bulletproof doors. Ready for an upgrade.
You can't....get back to work - Stay Safe

Finally a review this car deserve!!!🤗
We appreciate that. Honestly, if this wasn’t a dealership car, we would’ve gone even harder.
Vipers are not very friendly they are the apposite of Corvette love this snakes always and forever ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
lol...awesome review...."Look at me, I'm sweating here"
🤣 Glad you enjoyed it!
Been waiting for this one to drop!
😉
My next car :) I can’t wait to have in my driveway next to my yellow c5 corvette next year hopefully!
Good choice!
Great review. I was laughing the whole time because you were so dead on. It's not for the faint of heart.
Thanks for watching.
LOL 😂 This made me laugh my ass off. Funny good review!
Thanks for watching.
Fun review - what did it sound like from the cockpit and how low was it under acceleration? Thank you
good accurate review. that clutch location and footbox and head room not enough. thats why i would only buy convetible even look couple looks great too
Thanks for watching.
As much as I love the Viper, I must agree, it definitely has the kit car vibe going on.
It's definitely a wild & unique driving experience! The creeks & rattles add to the charm 😂
One of my neighbors has a Viper ACR, it lives in his garage. Maybe has 8000 miles on it, he is terrified of the thing.
That ACR tho… 🚗💨
I always called my Yellow Viper a “sexy dumb blond”. She looked so good but riding her was very rough and hot as hell. Yes, it was my 4th car in the garage. Kind miss her every now and then.
🫢
I love the viper and not sure about the newer ones, but I feel the older ones were too cramped inside and needed better suspension and the side exhaust would make it hotter inside. Just my opinion! U can share what u think. No need to trash me.
Honestly, you're not wrong.
But all of those "flaws" also become part of the experience as a whole.
It becomes a give & take, personal preference of what you're willing to deal with in a high performance coupe.
Great review, I am switching from Hellcat to Viper and I honestly feel the Hellcat is more visceral and in your face power. The viper has more of a race car feel. Awesome machines! How many miles were on this Viper?
59,000
@@GTPremiumReviews small world that’s the one I am buying! Hopefully it drove alright for you! 😎
Wish I could drive it!
😉
"Im always trying to kill you."-Viper
PS - I need gas again 😂
@@GTPremiumReviews 👍🤣🤣🤣
Yes I was scared all the way to death in the Rt10
It's trying to be an analog '80s supercar, in an era when supercars are trying to be luxury cars. It hit the mark dead on! It's just the mark it hit isn't popular anymore.
Sadly it’s not popular anymore.
@@GTPremiumReviews It's a damn shame. People credit the NSX for getting supercar manufacturers to improve their cars and make them more comfortable, but I genuinely believe it was the Viper that did it. Rich snooty people with buyers remorse suddenly started acting like they cared so much more about build quality and materials in their supercars instead of pure performance, because the Viper was so much better for so much cheaper.
I shall get one.
Do it.
An engine wearing a car.
Absolutely! The drivetrain is the entire character of the vehicle.
6 bolt wheels dayum
For all them ponies
Really not a single shot from behind?
My bad, I'll do better
that gen 4 convertible is the best looking of all vipers in my opinion. too bad the car could be lighten up abit and traction control on that gen, like the uglier gen 5
If he thinks the Viper is fast I'd love to take him for a ride in my RX-7 😅
I wouldn't turn it down!
😄
I was about to drag this guy through the mud for his lameness untill i lmao'd at the corvette comparison 😂
😉
This is an immature driver review, there are better reviews.

Are you a real person
@@yackson4804 Yes, I am real, I own a 2006 Viper, that I have tracked. Yes, it is a race car. Yes, if you aren’t careful, you can get into some trouble. I have owned it since it was new, the only trouble that I got into was when a front tire wore out on the outside edge and I went off track.
You sound like a hater
Go back and listen again
It's cheap plastic garbage built around an a massive engine.
gotta love mid 2000s American cars...
