What beautiful villages. It is interesting to note that some buildings have had their stonework repointed whilst others do not but very pretty all the same

I had just noticed that when I was editing the film. I suspect it comes down to finances but it would help keep the walls watertight. I read somewhere there that at one time the houses were rendered and that all the stone being exposed is more recent. Hence why pointing would not have been needed with rendering but now it is. Sorry for the long reply! Thanks for watching.

I really admire your patience Sian, with the headboard recovering. It's a lovely job! And the fabric looks very rich and warm. I enjoyed the many new and interesting things to look at on our 'tour' around with you all. Thank you for another very relaxing video to watch and to listen to, with listening to your warm, comforting speaking voice too! Wishing you both a great week. 😊

Your headboard recovering is a real labour of love. Thank you taking us through the beautiful village. It must have been amazing walking through those ancient streets and buildings so character filled.

Loved the music while parade was going through the town. What was the piece of music called?
