Hello everyone, In this episode I re-upholster an old headboard which had seen better days with recycled fabric. It quite a challange to to it's size and my workshop being rather small. I then grabbed my tents, packed the car full and went camping. We had a fab time even though I did forget to pack one crucial item- the camping stove! We lived off bread, cheese and chocolate spead for the weeke...

Just subscribed!! So excited! I was close to tears, seeing the love & hard work the Angels provided while The Magical Moons had time away, as a family. And I LOVE YOU, as 1 who learned how to work with horses during a brief, magical time in my early 20's. I am an old lady in Southern California, USA, & your lives in rural France bring me joy. Blessings.

Great job! And that’s the best footage of Sweetpea and Eeyore that I’ve seen since y’all brought them home.
The close up of Eeyore's coat! It is so thick! He'll be ready for winter!
@@marytaylor9185 He certainly is, it's so very soft too.

You were all tiptop caretakers…filled with love!! The Moon family gives and takes love as needed by having you all a part of their family…I mean that as a compliment…the Moon’s are an extremely loving couple and family!!❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful scenery very nicely shot. Thank you ❤️
And so say ALL of US Melissa! 😍 You did a fantastic job yourself too! 🤩
Sian, that was beautiful! I loved seeing the farm from your perspective. Thanks for all you did to help while the Moons were away. None of us could have done it all alone and think we made a great team, if I do say so myself! 🥰
You certainly did. It was lovely to see you back and I look forward to seeing you again in the spring. So good of the three of you to give the Moon family a break. X Dragon
Crossing everything so you achieve your well deserved sympathetic repairs and improvements Fantastic use for fabric storage and a sewing retreat studio ...great little Eden thanks for sharing
Little steps but I hope to get there 😉 Thanks for watching 🥰
Beautiful vlog!
Thank you 🥰
I love the instrumental music mixed with the gentle rain. Did you hear about the mushroom that walked into a bar? Who is this guy? Oh he's okay, he's a fun-guy (fungi) .... ha ha!
I thought it was a good match with the raindrops. Hahaha fun guy 😁🥰
I do hope you find your mushroom forager again -- those are definitely black trumpets (there are no poisonous lookalikes) and they are delicious. You could dry them now and eat them once you have them verified to your satisfaction.
Well done you two for helping Melissa cope with the animals so Nick and Jenny could have a few days away with the boys. The Moon Angels.
It was a pleasure to spend time getting to know all the 4 ( and 2) legged residents. Seeing their characters shine though and also giving the Moon family some time for themselves 🥰🥰
Lovely video! Enjoyed seeing you in The Moons vlogs. Hard work but enjoyable for you methinks.
It was enjoyable, I loved being with all of the animals ( and with Paulissa & Rosalie too) 🥰
Well wild mushroom picking is best learnt going out with someone who has the knowledge. I learned from family in Czech Republic where the tradition carry on. The British lost the art with the Industrial Revolution when country people moved to cities, you still have some common names around which tell you that mushrooms were collected, like slippery Jack. I also follow woodland husbandry - only take what you need, do not destroy mushrooms you do not know as wild life will want it, properly cover the space you took the mushroom from so that it not disturb the ground , love your videos😊
Yes you are right. I was hoping to bump into the elderly mushroom hunter who I saw earlier in the week and ask him but unfortunately I didn't see him again. I appreciate your comment and thank you for watching 🥰
What a beautiful place. Thank you for taking the time to video and share it with us.
With pleasure, thank you for watching and commenting 🥰🥰
What a lovely video. I feel a calm come over me as I look at it. Thank you very much.
Thank you for watching 🥰
Lovely video. The forests are so amazing this time of year. And it was such a treat seeing the cranes flying overhead. Thank you for sharing with us. Be Well and Enjoy.
Autumn is a wonderful season. Thanks for watching 🥰
Good video. I was getting worried about you and if you were alright. If you take your shrooms to your french pharmacist they can identify them for you. I would feel better if you would wear gloves when gathering them. Also, during hunting season, please wear a bright green cap, scarf or head band in addition to the vest. Love your home, very pretty place.
Hello there, yes all fine here thank you. I've been too busy with work to sit and edit 😉 🥰
@@hiddenawayinfrance I understand. Lots to do in the fall to prepare for winter in addition to normal life activities. Just missed you.
Lovely Sian
Thank you 🥰
Thank you so much for offering us these oases of instant serenity and contemplation❤❤❤
My pleasure, thank you for watching 🥰
Love that you can get out into the woods to forage, my mushrooms however would only come from a supermarket, i'm not that brave but i think that there is an App that you could download onto your phone that could identify what's what so happy hunting.
It's certainly a safer option 😉 Yes an app would be good but I would also like an experienced hunter who has eaten them 😁🥰
Lovely. Thank you so much!
You are welcome 🥰
