We looked into RVing as a way to safe money travelling the country. What really surprised me was the cost of staying at an RV park. I was remembering the days of travelling with my parents when I was a kid staying at places like KOA back in the 60s-70s. Didnt realize a place with full hookups was close to renting a room or cabin or even more! Then add in the expense of an RV, purchasing, insurance, maintenance, gas mileage.
Hey Rusty, we take a Daily Ride here in SATX and Hill Country 7 days a week. It’s just become part of our daily routine and we really enjoy it! It all started when Covid started and there was not much to do. We average about 50 miles a day on our rides. Really breaks up the day and we thoroughly enjoy it!! Keep on keeping on, my friend!!
I also like to say that i do and will Enjoy you being a home owner living in a home. Showing us that being at home can be a adventures also. Thank You Again Rusty!!! Angela NC ❤❤😊😊❤.
It is 10:59 am and equally gray and dreary with mist in southern Val Verde county. I am not complaining after the beautiful day yesterday when we reached 91 degrees. Have a good day. 🙂

Life without an RV at less than 2 weeks... easy. Especially in comfortable weather. At 6 months, in miserable weather much, much harder. That itch WILL come...lol.🍻
