Thank you for showing this. I didn't know you could quilt in that much fullness. I just take the borders off and redo them and put them back on .Then show my customers how to make perfect borders. Thank you.
This is phenomenal-- thank you both for taking he time to record and describe this. I don't do LA quilting myself, but can imagine that I could translate this to "regular" machine quilting as well.
I am still clapping my hands for you. I found your videos and every one seems to be more enlightening than the last. I am so very appreciative of your work, teaching and sharing on You Tube channel. This video is awesome in showing us how to fill up the fullness that can get into the borders. Thank you Lyn.
OH this is wonderful, such helpful information!!! I'm bringing home my first "new to me" long arm this weekend and I have some older tops of mine that I know are likely to have issues quilting on a frame. What a GREAT way to solve this issue, I would have NEVER thought of that! Thank you!
Great quilting pattern for full borders! This was very helpful. The side lighting was very effective at showing the amount of fabric you were able to take in. Thank you!
Oh my goodness. This is the most useful quilting video I have ever seen. I'm a self taught person and I figured out pretty much on my own how to use rulers, quilt feathers, and all kinds of designs but, this problem eluded me. I was never happy with many of the borders I worked on. Some customer quilts were never a problem and then other customers were frightful. Thank you, thank you. I wish I had found your RUclips video years ago.
I agree with sarah L. this is great. Nice to have the voice over. In the past I've cut and made seams with owners permission of course. and Just meandered these areas til you couldn't tell. this looks very attractive!
Holy Smokes. Thank you. I have many many times taken the borders off the clients quilts and redone them to reduce the fullness. This may save some time.
Quilt that out! LOL. Awesome, I should post some videos. I'm a kinda a lousy piecer; sad as I've been doing it over twenty years...but that's ok it's made me able to quilt out all kinds of wonkiness.

Great tips! Even without the fullness this would be a nice border technique, but it was fascinating to watch those waves come under control!
Thank you so much!!!! I'm quilting one with a full center, not borders, but I learned so much.
Very clever Lyn, thanks for the lesson!

That's what I would have done.
Brilliant video! Amasing to see all that fullness disappear
Thank you Linda Durbin.
