I TOTALLY AGREE! finally got a bottle this past week and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! It's very unique, high quality, my girlfriend absolutely loves it! By far one of my better purchases this year! Glad I got the 200ml bottle!

One of the best dumb reachers out there right now. The mineral, mastic, aqua zone combo makes it stand out more than the rest. Yes, the opening is wonderful and common, but the dry down is where this one starts showing off. I also find that it gets stronger the more I wear it. Not sure why..loo
How is the drydown? Is it aquatic, is it sweet? I saw some people saying that it is sweet. Is it as sweet as invictus? Because I am looking for an aquatic fragrance that is not too sweet.
@@blondemonk7860 I have profondo and it's my favorite perfume of all time. The dry down is Aquatic, sweet. One the rare perfume I could say the dry down is really great.
No the dry down is not too sweet, it gets more salty and fresh the opening is what is really sweet, overall it is not a sweet fragrence more salty and fresh
Completely agree. It gets saltier and more green as you go down
It smells somehow the same as the original Acqua di Giò to me, with just additional lasting time which makes Profondo becoming the best replacement for the original one.
Btw, does anyone here fall in love with Armani d’arômes like me? Hopefully in the future, they will release a prolonged version of d’arômes like what has been done with Profondo.
I have a vial of this, and two vials of Absolu Instinct. Was gonna choose just one, but I'm gonna get a full bottle of both. Very lovely smells
I think it's the best fragrance for really warm days. It's so refreshing and citrusy. I love it!

I'm a big guy and the scent lasted on my skin 8+ hours so i was actually impressed on the performance that being said i will be going back to get the profumo.

The best fragrance on the earth was the Acqua Di Gio before 2010.
After they reformed this scent at 2010 summer and now the Gio became a bad wc smell.
Just buy an old vintage Gio on ebay - you will feel the different.
They killed that fantastic aqautic-citric-beach feeling from new Gio.
Sure people buy this new scent too because the people buy everything and the people forgotten the old gio's fantastic smell!
I am using now Acqua Di Gio deodorant - but they killed that too.

Profundo is my new favorite! While I know many really like Profumo, I personally couldn’t stand the smell.

I buy a fragrance for myself, not to get compliments from others. So far I have 50 designer bottles, all bought retails because I'm paranoid I'm getting a fake one. My favorites so far are ADG Profumo, DG The One, and Prada L'homme. 50 bottles later, I learned that all you need are these three I mentioned. In my opinion, they are the best in their purpose. But hey, who am I to tell you, I'm still watching this channel and will buy the next Best recommendation.

Finally got this one today I was a fan of the original And have tried several of the flankers but this one brings me back to that original Quality. Clearly much different in a good way I plan on wearing this through the fall.

Openning is beautyful great fresh aquatic salty. Heart is Ok 👌. But drydown is too weak . becomes a skin scent very quick. It is the closest to the original ADG with aquatic notes. Wishing for a PROFONDO INTENSE EDP.
I bought a 40ml bottle I wish I had bought a bigger bottle 🤪 i like a lot 🔥👌 on my skin 7-8hours so no bad at all 😎

I love Profondo.
Profumo is King, but this one really gives it a good run for its money.
This one smells more like the original ADG to me but pumped up.
I bought this last month as gift for my brother..coz it s for spring/summer..it s different to the another blue fragrances..it s fresh and sexy..women enjoy it a lot..it s safe to wear..it s for any age..and it has some note from the old famous aqua di gio that it s still good..and for sure..armani is always a good safe home for good fragrances..

100% agree with you, it is unique and very appealing as well as it does not bear that similarity to Profoumo as some unprofessionals said.
After only recently returning to wearing colognes again, I just got my bottle of Acqua Di Gio Profondo. I really like the scent, but it’s not my favourite. Perhaps it’ll grow on me, who knows. As for longevity, I tested it in two situations.
First at home with a double spray on my left arm. After 11 hours, and two short showers, I could still smell it on my skin. Only just, but it was there. Amazing.
At work on a very hot and muggy summer’s day, it didn’t last quite as long. I double sprayed Profondo on my neck, inside the elbows, and top of the shoulders, before I stepped out into a very hot day. I’m a hotel porter, so the work is physical, and I’m indoors and outdoors continuously for 8 hours. About 4-5 hours after the initial sprays the scent had almost completely disappeared from my skin. I’ve read that aquatic fragrances by their very nature tend to dissipate a lot faster than more complex fragrances.
So, does the dissipation of an Aquatic fragrance get worse with hotter and more humid weather? And, perspiration from work?
Yes so, If you wear any fragrance on hot weather like lets say your outside for a long time then yes the fragrance wont last that long because the heat is making it project off your skin and therefore losing it faster. However lets say you are in a warmer or colder area like at work or anywhere inside a place then its gonna last much longer because there is no heat to project it as much
Just bought a bottle and it definitely has longevity. Smells very good and not too strong. A little dab last me all day.

So acqua di gio profondo is amazing perfume i think its even better than profumo for me.. i dont know if its only me but it smells like bleu de chanel to me after dry down. But i love this smell and cant wait to make it in my collection. I probably gonna use it for my signature scent.. right now am using versace dylan blue before i had dior sauvage
It smell good but the proyection and longevity sucks, 4 sprays on me can’t smell anymore after 2 hours,you’ll see I’m right when you ge it ,I recommend Versace Eros EDP the beast of all .
I feel it has same Versace pour homme DNA, at least for my nose and I've compared them and asked people around me, so basically if you have Versace pour homme you dont need it and vice versa !

I love profumo but Iove profondo even more. Acqua Di Gio is supposed to be a day time spring/summer fragrance that is fresh and very acquatic. Profumo is too dark imo

How similar are profondo and light blue intense pour homme? I already own light blue intense and I hate buying redundant purchases..... I looked up the notes for both, and noticed similarities.... I know profumo is completely different then light blue intense, but not sure about profondo

I bought one on ebay everything checks out as a legit profundo but the 1st 30min are very lemony/bitter citrus is that the way its supposed to smell anyone know ? After 30min it smells good but it has a strong bitter citrus/lemon scent

It could... but I would say get one other one that's more winter specific like Code Absolu. Your choice though.
If you live in a mostly warm and/or humid year round climate like Florida(where I live) for example, I'd say absolutely! I still recommend having at least several fragrances though if you're able to.

Some other options include YSL Y edp, Dylan Blue or Aqua Atlantique.
Light Blue Intense just didn't do it for me. The latest bottles have toned down the "gummy bear" note and amped up the bitter saltiness.
You won't go wrong with ADG Profondo even as a blind buy, in my opinion is an elegant mix of ADG Profumo, Absolu, and Bleu de Channel. DG Light Blue intense is good but not as great as Profondo.
I love Light Blue Intense. Sexy as hell. Profumo is also a favorite of mine.
