WILL IT START. ABANDONED KUBOTA 4X4 RTV 900 DIESEL SITTING 30 MONTHS, PART #1

BOUGHT A HOUSE AND LAND AND SELLER IS INCLUDING LOTS OF TOYS AND TOOLS. APPROX 30 MONTHS SINCE LAST START. I AM GOING TO RESTORE THIS AND USE IT DAILY

I have same and you likely figured this out by now but that glow plug light will come on just prior to key engaging the starter. Mine also has to have the foot pedal oh so slightly touched and it fires right up. If not, you will be cranking for a while.

After I got it running I decided to bleed system and since then run s great

I'm thinking I need to tweek the throttle adjustment slightly if I care to have it start without touching the accelerator - I know the adjustment to the Hydro was critical to fixing the fact that I had to rev it up so much to make it move initially. It does run nice now though. Now waiting on a radiator as the plastic top deteriorated such that the cap could not seal and so it pukes out the fluid to the overflow tank and once full, onto the ground. Found a great deal (hopefully) from the UK which with shipping, cost about $180 instead of the $660 from the dealer.

@@UB1081 Have 2 friends who have same exact model and theres no need for input from gas pedal to start. Just turn key. Mine is like that as well. So yours should be.

Have same just turn the key till the amp battery gage moves count to four than engage starter starts ever time
