I just discovered this band so I haven't heard their other songs, but I gotta tell you- this is freaking amazing! I fell in love with this song the first time I heard it. Perfect.
Was unsure after first listening, intro was brilliant. listened 5 times now and this is absolutely stunning. A big change in some ways and I admire Liam and the Courteeners for having the balls to change a winning formula after the brilliance of their first 2 albums. The video is freaky but fits the song perfectly. If the rest of the album is like this, it will be terrific. Look forward to seeing them again in Glasgow in March.
Why is everyone saying that it sounds like Humbug? It sounds nothing like Humbug. There's some of The Editors in there but it's still got The Courteeners uniqueness in it.
Wow the band really changed their appearances recently, the lead singer and guitarist look so different from how they used to. But I've got to say i love their new look.
Lol.. incredible. . ST JUDE is by far their best album. I love every single song on it. Its a shame "That Kiss" was not included. .otherwise I would have put it up there with one of the best albums to come out of Manchester. ..easily!.. but whats the use.?? People like what they like.. and I love what I love..lol
This is undoubtedly one of the best tracks on their album, but its simply not a Courteeners song. They have changed from the original 80's 'indie' sound that was in their first album.... ....
Lately I've been going through One or two things that would make the nurses on the ward turn blue Rabbit in the headlights with no place else to go Can you pinpoint the place where you lost control? My favourite song by them by far especially that chilling riff! Upcoming band worth checking out are 5 Second Rule, they've already been played on Radio 2 and been on the news etc... check out their new song 'Rose', by going on my channel, it's very good considering they're only 14-15 years old!
I think new album is great - great lyrics, great melodies, great vocals. Falcon is good too. But I'm not that much into St.Jude though, it sounds like hundred others bands. Fray's vocals improved so much since St.Jude. Don't know what not to like about ANNA.
Heard this for the first time in the Co-Op. Thank you so much Co-Op.
Up the co up lads
@@george4554 big up the Co-op

The Courteeners are so underrated, they're insane!

CON ESENCIA
I think they sound way better on live stage than studio version
Sounds like White Lies to me...Still love it!:)
This sounded much better live in Manchester in December
Can't decide whether I prefer this style or the St. Jude style of album..
This is undoubtedly one of the best tracks on their album, but its simply not a Courteeners song. They have changed from the original 80's 'indie' sound that was in their first album.... ....
you are rite! theenforcer22 it sounds a lot like depeche mode!! Still a great great track i must say...
great song! Why is so little likes? :D
but i think, this song sounds so much better in your live version.
Los mejores; ellos y Delphic son otro pedo
I'm going to Lose Control on Monday night, then the whole of March 2013.
You've heard one song off the new album... and you do realise this is just in the same style as 'Scratch Your Name Upon My Lips" from Falcon?
que seria de mi pvta vida sin radio doble 99
Lose control 24 ❤️
Listen to St Jude, their debut album. quality stuff, Falcon is quality too, but order it up
Was thinking 'this is shit, I thought it was amazing live the last few times', turned out I had it playing in two windows. Great song
