    Great video. My relationship of five years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave, and I can't stop thinking about her. I love her so much, and I've tried everything to get her back, but nothing seems to work. I'm frustrated and feel like I can't picture my life with anyone else. I've made every effort to move on, but the thoughts of her keep overwhelming me. I don’t know why I'm sharing this, but I miss her deeply and just can’t stop thinking about her.

      Letting go of someone you love is incredibly hard. I can relate to your situation. My own 12-year relationship ended, and like you, I couldn't let go. I did everything I could to bring her back. Eventually, I sought help from a spiritual counselor who assisted me in reuniting with her.

    I have gotten so much criticism for moving in a gentle, calm manner, having correct posture and being calm and soft spoken overall. I have always been like this. It is internalized sexism, hating on feminine women and especially in lower social classes where women are expected to be masculine and do double labor, it is very apparent. It feels good to be seen for once 😊

      @Politbarometer 3 года назад +59

      Like the other ladies said, when you are born with a certain femininity, they are trying to mob you at school or at your workplace. The envy towards feminine women is huge, particularly in countries such as Germany, where women more ore less are the same thing as men. They absolute hate it, when a women moves with grace and they tell you either, that you are a spoiled brat, that has nothing to do with her life or at work they think that you want to have an affair with your boss and that you are incompetent. I have never seen in my life a country with so many female yokels with tatoos all over their bodies and plain behavior and no feeling for fashion.

      I don't think most women try to act like men, 99% of society just see women standing up for themself and shutting down sh*tty people as "masculine".
      I see it WAY too much: if a girl doesn't shut up and let people talk down on them or let their husband go out and get all wasted all weekend, they say she's "aggressive" and "acts like a man" just for saying something about it

      I’m pretty sure women are able to teach this themselves to their daughters at least it’s how it was done in my family…grandmother to my mother to myself the same way as elegance or class…it has to be learned at a young age it’s not easy to pick up habits you didn’t have to learn as a child/at home

    • @gmzakg
      @gmzakg Год назад

      @@butterfly2604 yes well that’s clearly a priority issue…and not even an income one. If you’re in a family with any type of the specific issues you mentioned, the least of their worries is etiquette…they can learn respect and have great values but not etiquette necessarily and clearly it makes sense, it’s not a basic need or a prerequisite I was clearly saying that a family that thinks of sending their child to an etiquette school…probably already has the means and capabilities to provide such lessons themselves…it wasn’t a generalization to all families but more of a well instead of sending them to etiquette school you can teach these manners to your child yourself, if doing so is something you desire in the first place…clearly if it’s not an issue or a priority in the family…it’s not going to be taught

      “The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever. ”
      _ 1 John 2:17
      seek first the kingdom of God, and God will give you everything that you need.
      Your eternal life will last much longer than anything you could get in this life..
      “ And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
      _ Matthew 6: 27_33
      This might sound hard, but you don’t need a man/ woman, you need God, and God will give you everything that you need. A man/woman will love you for your physical look/ charisma/ money/ intelligence….. or all the temporary things to fill a void that THEY need and will only love you if you meet their needs, but God loves you for who you are, whatever you are and no matter what your past is. In fact, God doesn’t need you, you need Him, yet He loves you and cares for you. That’s what you need.
      Note: I’m not saying don’t get married, I’m just talking about obsession or even committing adultery and losing your soul for the opposite sex rather than following our father and creator.

    I agree, moving softly, picking up things gently, and your stance and the way you sit speaks volumes. I have gained weight in the last year and one of the things I've noticed is my walk and the way I sit is not as feminine as it used to be. My walk is not as graceful. I've started watching your videos and have become more conscientious of it. Women should always sit with their knees together and ankles crossed. I was at a football game recently, and as hard as it was , I made a conscious effort to sit that way the entire game..it made me feel more like a lady.

      I'm working on that, too. Some days it works, but some days it doesn’t. A lot of Anna's tips work well for moms, especially simplifying your wardrobe. I find that choosing an outfit and getting it ready the night before always helps me feel more prepared and less rushed the next morning. Also, taking a few minutes to plan out my time each week, so I know what I need to do when. Some weeks I don't take that time to prepare and those are the times when I feel like a frantic mess! Being deliberate with your time and energy makes a huge difference.

    Thank you Anna, this video has been super helpful for me! After watching this, I've been trying to move softer and slower. Normally I move very fast, and sharp. When I started to slow down, I noticed my mind is also calmed down. Also, I noticed that others listen to me better. I have a stressful job, but I noticed in the last 2 days, I accomplished more, even though I did everything slower.

    I think it has a lot to do with personality. As someone naturally shy, people usually call me delicate. I was cooking with my friends one day and they said: do it faster, you're too delicate. I was like: it's my way of doing things, I can't change that. I could have felt bad about it, but it's just the way I am. So I don't think someone who is more extroverted can be as "delicate" as someone like me. And it's okay, I will never be faster or have that "power and strenght" look. I'm just me. I love to be delicate. I love to be feminine. And someone who is not, should love to be extravagant because we need people like that too

    Posture is something that I have to really pay attention to. I developed a large bust during high school and it made me very self conscious, so I tended to slouch and try to hide. Over time it became a habit, but I work hard to be mindful of it because it definitely makes a difference.

    Very good video! These are items that appear to be "natural" in the elegant female. These absolutely show confidence, which itself is timeless. To the seated posture I would add the parallel leg look. These days, a woman can't overdo it parallel legs as much because it might then look affected, something to be avoided at all costs.....but in moderation it's certainly in every Contessa's sitting playbook. Note from a guy: Being feminine does not at all imply one is not a feminist. The most intelligent, confident feminists I know, are very elegant. And what is a feminist?....simply anyone who recognizes the equality and humanity of all people. Again, very good video.
