One thing I've noticed about astrology, is that not only does it describe us to ourselves, it also reveals what we experience from others. So in my case, with Rahu in the 1st house, I'm experiencing everyone else telling me what they think is best for me but leading me down blind alleys, and generally, even those with the best of intentions are wrecking my reality in some ways. @@theinterstellarfox1172 It's been really hard for me because most of my planets are in mutable signs and I have 3/4 water in my chart so I'm super emotional and I love everybody and want everyone to have a fair say. Honestly, I ended up having to cut everyone out of my life except for my husband. This includes both of our families too. However, I'm also mostly bedridden with chronic illness and pain but I keep my spirits up for myself which I'm amazed I can even do, but most people don't believe I'm truly doing the best I can every day because I'm light-hearted and still fun. I'm getting worse too and I'm almost 60. I'm still happy and I stay young at heart. I tell myself not to trip on what I can't change. I wish you luck with your journey. this hits the nail on its head. i guess its true in both directions. i would guess rahu connects you to the shadow realm (or one of them there are probably many) und thats why things work differently in that respective house and thats where the confusion comes from. My best friend ist also rahu first house with virgo and I feel like we understand each other better in that 1st. house regard, maybe because of this placement. I would guess rahu makes the game of its placement a different one, not necessarily good or bad but it can cause friction with the normal game of that placement.

I have Rahu in the 1st house and I used to be a cameleon, I tried to make people think of me what I wanted to (because I am gay and I was closeted), that was until I was 19. I think the self obsession also manifests in the way I only care about one character I'm attracted to in a story and can't stand the part about other characters. I don't understand how other people can enjoy reading a story without obsessing over one character. And it sucks cause I can't enjoy other things. Mine is in the first house but I am not like that at all really. I was really lost and wanted to understand myself on a deep level and around 2012 I started becoming spiritual and since that choice I have been wonderful and don't really have those issues at all. I've always been spiritually motivated though because I was hugely intuitive as a kid with a lot of gifts and other people didn't interest me I was always kind of a hermit type and like to keep to myself so that gave time for lots of contemplation and going inward. Being it's in 29,59 of Scorpio I'm not sure if that helps as well as my Jupiter and Pluto being in the same sign but in the 12th house. I have a weird chart though altogether. I resonate a lot more with my ketu than my rahu. But I have friends who have these same house placements and they are very much like you describe. All the material in the world is never enough to satisfy them and I watch them make so many questionable decisions that they regret later. I'm glad I'm not that much like that tbh.

When we do give back to people, to community, to our parents, to our friends. Why is taking care of yourself 1st sometimes bad? Being a chameleon worked well for me until about the age of 33, since then it's been backfiring on me and I was baffled until I discovered astrology. Hi, I just read that headaches and in some migraines are caused by the 3rd Eye. A remedy is placing cottage cheese which is curds on the 3rd Eye area. I've done it and found my life is less drama filled. Also if you have a astigmatism in your eye glass prescription them get them made without it. I couldn't use my astigmatism in mine, I would get a headache too.

So true, I literally want to conquer the world and I will be going to do it. I have been evolving at a greater speed to achieve what I want. It's true, I do have multiple personalities and my first house lord is Leo. So sun and Rahu do not blend together. So I created a new being and called it Chinuon and declare chinuon as a from in which sun and Rahu are working together. I now work more as a combine force. It has been 2 years so lots of things have evolved. I reached to a level where people always imagine to be and then left it all for higher level of understanding. Rahu people are never satisfied so i currently have a much higher goal set. for this chinuon have to become chinuwon.

All the interpretations of Rahu in the 1st house is quite disappointing, if Ketu in 7th is something we have done in our past life and we are familiar about it, why do a lot of astrologers make us sound selfish just because we prioritize self-development & self-love first since Rahu in 1st house? It doesn't necessarily mean we are heartless and completely stray from the 7th. We can still do charity, we can takecare of our old parents, we can give back to the community but of course logically it's balance to focus on ourselves and give ourselves time too. it is not right to reduce a complicated and deep subject like astrology to such kind of one-formula fits all video. atleast 10 percent people in the world would have rahu in first house. And we don't have all of them in unusual professions. Rahu gives the results of the sign it occupies. instead, it just makes your life go up and down through a series of events that are unusual.

You just described NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder) to the tee! I was looking for the planetary placement(s) in western astrology that could best indicate either the presence of or propensity for developing NPD but I couldn’t find a lot except Pluto aspects that didn’t give the full picture - NPD of course is a clinical diagnosis but what you are describing seems to fit the description of a Narcissist very closely - has anyone studied the correlation b/w astrological planetary placements and the occurrence of personality disorders & other psychological illnesses?
If you are referring to Rahu in 1 as NPD, it isn't, the teaching in this life is to learn about yourself and that is achieved once you put yourself first. It is more self-preserving/self-resourceful than most. If you are looking for signs for NPD in a person, a person leans towards it if it has BOTH a bad moon and a bad Venus, especially fire Venuses, a strong Aries/Leo in the chart also contributes.
I think Rahu 1st housers can end up looking like we have NPD to other people. I agree with what HARLEYFSBO said. Everyone falls somewhere on the narcissism scale. There is a difference between being narcissistic and having the disorder. With Rahu in the 1st is here to learn to balance over giving and focusing on others(Ketu 7th house) with putting self first. this hits the nail on its head. i guess its true in both directions. i would guess rahu connects you to the shadow realm (or one of them there are probably many) und thats why things work differently in that respective house and thats where the confusion comes from. My best friend ist also rahu first house with virgo and I feel like we understand each other better in that 1st. house regard, maybe because of this placement. I would guess rahu makes the game of its placement a different one, not necessarily good or bad but it can cause friction with the normal game of that placement.

I think the self obsession also manifests in the way I only care about one character I'm attracted to in a story and can't stand the part about other characters. I don't understand how other people can enjoy reading a story without obsessing over one character. And it sucks cause I can't enjoy other things. Mine is in the first house but I am not like that at all really. I was really lost and wanted to understand myself on a deep level and around 2012 I started becoming spiritual and since that choice I have been wonderful and don't really have those issues at all. I've always been spiritually motivated though because I was hugely intuitive as a kid with a lot of gifts and other people didn't interest me I was always kind of a hermit type and like to keep to myself so that gave time for lots of contemplation and going inward. Being it's in 29,59 of Scorpio I'm not sure if that helps as well as my Jupiter and Pluto being in the same sign but in the 12th house. I have a weird chart though altogether. I resonate a lot more with my ketu than my rahu. But I have friends who have these same house placements and they are very much like you describe. All the material in the world is never enough to satisfy them and I watch them make so many questionable decisions that they regret later. I'm glad I'm not that much like that tbh.

I do not flatter people and neither am I obsessed with my looks. I am an introvert, feel very uncomfortable in large settings, and don't see much changes in my life after the age of 40. OH GOD the personality change is so true. But somehow I embrace that part of me. I feel like I am all my personalities, it's not like I fake them, they all are natural and depends on what the other person takes out of me. Also it helps a lot in this world. Everybody likes me because they can relate with me as I mold into them. Though I am quite controlled and won't lose my shit is someone simply tries to piss me off. Hi, I just read that headaches and in some migraines are caused by the 3rd Eye. A remedy is placing cottage cheese which is curds on the 3rd Eye area. I've done it and found my life is less drama filled. Also if you have a astigmatism in your eye glass prescription them get them made without it. I couldn't use my astigmatism in mine, I would get a headache too.

I really really hope that I'm nothing like what you describe here. I believe I am using (and have for most of my life) my rahu/ascendant conjuntion to grow as a person body and soul. I work as a healer and and a psychic and has been since I was 30 (now 43) and I have been helping people with their inner soul development since early teens. how can I release my rahu in my first house of virgo? I have RAHU, MOON, SUN and PLUTO in my first house in Virgo but in the Vedic I am a LEO Ascendant.

So true, I literally want to conquer the world and I will be going to do it. I have been evolving at a greater speed to achieve what I want. It's true, I do have multiple personalities and my first house lord is Leo. So sun and Rahu do not blend together. So I created a new being and called it Chinuon and declare chinuon as a from in which sun and Rahu are working together. It's my ultimate form and I always try to be closer to that and evolving that personality so that I can ultimately achieve my goal.
Can You Describe more, Like how did you manage Dualities, conflicts in your mind, I too have multiple personalities and find no problem on it, mine is same i.e Rahu in Leo ascendent, I too interested in items related to electronics and I cant think of anything else, but like you said you made "chinuon" what's that? And what was your main weakness and how did you overcome it?
@@mousamupadhyaya8053 chinuon is a character which represents my combine personalities with all the qualities of rahu and leo. i am much more closer to chinuon and did not feel dual personalities and all other stuff. I now work more as a combine force. It has been 2 years so lots of things have evolved. I reached to a level where people always imagine to be and then left it all for higher level of understanding. Rahu people are never satisfied so i currently have a much higher goal set. for this chinuon have to become chinuwon.
@@mousamupadhyaya8053 I don’t think i have any weakness so I don’t need to overcome it but rather accept the way i am and evolve as a collective entity as that’s the beauty of rahu and leo. everything and every emotion is a part of your own self. everything is one. everything is me. this was never my weakness. it’s a blessing. Lots of things happened as i am running saturn maha with merc antardasha. I feel like everything does matter but not as much as we think about it. The relevance of everything is minuscule. I was able to set free everything every personality after realising this. I am free now and I can do anything I want

I just saw this and I can't interpret it. In Rasi chart Ketu is in the same place as Rahu in Navamsa chart. Does that person have two complete demons when charts are combined or those charts can't be combined in that way?
All the interpretations of Rahu in the 1st house is quite disappointing, if Ketu in 7th is something we have done in our past life and we are familiar about it, why do a lot of astrologers make us sound selfish just because we prioritize self-development & self-love first since Rahu in 1st house? It doesn't necessarily mean we are heartless and completely stray from the 7th. We can still do charity, we can takecare of our old parents, we can give back to the community but of course logically it's balance to focus on ourselves and give ourselves time too. I really hate when astrologers go Ketu in 7th house is bad luck cos it means your marriage is a failure and you won't care about your spouse and you feel detached..... and then proceed to explain Rahu in 12th house is spiritual sex with multiple people for enlightenment. What kind of contradiction is this? Why make the 1st house sounds so horrendous when it's the core is truly about self-growth & self-love? Is co-dependency healthier? Does it truly mean we will never mature and take people's need into consideration in our life just cos Ketu is in 7th house? It's disappointing.

Wow! So right on! My son has Rahu exactly on Cancer Ascendant with Moon exactly on Pisces MC ... wow! Plus Neptune is exactly conjunct his Sagittarius Sun. Now I better understand all his confusion & issues. Thank God he has strong mercury in capricorn conj venus in 7th house. Actually, is that all that good? Seventh house is other people, right?. it is not right to reduce a complicated and deep subject like astrology to such kind of one-formula fits all video. atleast 10 percent people in the world would have rahu in first house. And we don't have all of them in unusual professions. Rahu gives the results of the sign it occupies. instead, it just makes your life go up and down through a series of events that are unusual.

You just described NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder) to the tee! I was looking for the planetary placement(s) in western astrology that could best indicate either the presence of or propensity for developing NPD but I couldn’t find a lot except Pluto aspects that didn’t give the full picture - NPD of course is a clinical diagnosis but what you are describing seems to fit the description of a Narcissist very closely - has anyone studied the correlation b/w astrological planetary placements and the occurrence of personality disorders & other psychological illnesses?
If you are referring to Rahu in 1 as NPD, it isn't, the teaching in this life is to learn about yourself and that is achieved once you put yourself first. It is more self-preserving/self-resourceful than most. If you are looking for signs for NPD in a person, a person leans towards it if it has BOTH a bad moon and a bad Venus, especially fire Venuses, a strong Aries/Leo in the chart also contributes.
I think Rahu 1st housers can end up looking like we have NPD to other people. I agree with what HARLEYFSBO said. I don't even register on the N scale at all, which is actually problematic and is one of the reasons I'm supposed to be self-focused. I'm a complete and total empath and I need to balance that out.
Harley NCD needs to have Rahu with Gulika and Neptune, plus either aspects by Mars or Saturn or the lord of the sign should be debilitated or should have a weak luminary either the moon or sun
Everyone falls somewhere on the narcissism scale. There is a difference between being narcissistic and having the disorder. With Rahu in the 1st is here to learn to balance over giving and focusing on others(Ketu 7th house) with putting self first. They are also here to learn to think for themselves instead of worrying so much about what others think of them and adjusting themselves to that.
