Having 60 plus years of experience and hind sight, and also having Rahu in my 1st house and Ketu in my 7th house all I can say is that your interpretation are almost spot on as far as My life is concerned. For eg., I love being a loner, and am totally comfortable in my own company. This ofcourse does no mean that I do not enjoy the company of others, which I do but for shorter durations of time. I am also a great one for "thinking out of the box" for any and almost every problematic situation.
My ketu is in 7th house of cancer sitting with Venus, Jupiter and Sun.. everything you said about ketu in 7th is so real to me.. my entire life has been a struggle to find my own identity.. i have seen both extremes of ascension and darkness.. i have attracted partners who were not good to me, had self worth issues to let them go too... But but but.. as you said, consciousness is a powerful thing.. luckily it dint take a lot of time to hit me and make right choices for myself.. maybe it's my other placements which has supported me.. i could see through the darkness and only become enlightenment... Yes i have found a spiritual community.. for me, dance is my passion and i connect with God through bharatnatyam.. currently pursuing diploma degree in bharatnatyam soon planning masters as well.. it is very important to me to be associated with something which is "people less" else i feel like I'm drowning in darkness.. i forsee myself being so submerged in dance that i can finally let go of the idea of "having someone to complete me"..
Also my jupiter is exalted at 5 degrees.. so maybe he helps but again my moon sits with Mars in fourth house.. not sure how it impacts my 7th since cancer is in 7th house..

wow this is very true I have always been attracted to " bad boy " type and rebel friend groups I have always chased after that feeling and was always met with a rude awakening of being abused by these men relying on them to tell me who I am or devote myself to them or get myself into trouble trying to be like others. I am 22 now just now trying to find myself and self love journey so far the loneliness is uncomfortable and I'm still not sure my path in life but I feel I am making better progress towards self love.
I feel what made me " wake up" faster is my daughter I had her young but I am thankful she is here because it made me want to get myself together so I can be a better example for her

Amazing analysis Anahita. My natal chart is sporting Ketu in my 7th in Virgo conjunct my Mars retrograde, opposing Sun and mercury in Pisces with Rahu too. To make the situation dream in chaos, both the nodes and mentioned planets form a T-Square with Uranus in Gemini on the 5th house cusp. Quite a brew for Chaos, I guess, dreams, theory and magical theatre in the arts or spiritual. My Venus and Jupiter conjoin in Aquarius on the ascendant too, somewhat, somehow all so confusing at the starting gate to life.

Spouse has Venus and Mars conjunct in 10th house. Not quite 40. Still learning and not insane yet. Though I wonder if I’m the only sane person and everyone else is out of their minds.

@@AriainNewYork it’s called being in it out of a sense of duty and family, realizing that no one person is going to fulfill you. That comes from within. Do you have this placement? I think Rahu in the 1st is about learning to be in relationships without being too enmeshed in the other. Also means Ketu is in 7th so that past life was all about putting others first. Just my take. Also, I think it’s interest that most Rahu 1st H people always can attract relationships but keeping them or wanting them is a struggle.

Some old texts say, like you alluded to, that ketu makes the people in that area of your life very needy, greedy, selfish, desperate and demanding. I've been experiencing that more as I get older, especially with members of the 'public'. People get triggered by me easily and they can be totally irrational.
And they say Rahu is fog/smoke, and it can make you the object of constant projections and wild assumptions, misunderstandings from others, as rahu nears maturity.
People project their psychological stuff on me-- the same action seen by different people is interpreted so absurdly differently. I'm seen as a perfect angel to one person and downright demonic to another lol. It's always based on their own desires, insecurities, psychological complexes, etc. Rahu's foggy nature creating delusions for others I guess.
I've noticed in myself and others with this placement, there seems to be this weird energetic thing where the "public" / others subconsciously feel like they have a RIGHT to you, like they own you, and get to dictate things, to impose themselves on you or something. A karmic continuation of our habit to abide by/depend on social contracts, I suppose.
At some point I began to force myself to 'break contracts', rebel, or not be so available/ready to compromise. Even to be insulting or rude to push others away when needed. I think it's a muscle that needed to be worked.
A major focus has been figuring out who I am and what direction I should take. And learning to go against the dominant social consensus in being true to myself. (ketu is 7th from lagna, in aqua. But its 11th from my moon.) I used to care a lot what people thought, and now I'm often amused, but mostly indifferent, to both positive and negative opinions.

I love my Ketu in the 7th WITH Mars in Aries. I don't see myself through the eyes of others at all. I'm definitely my own person. Everyone simply needs to find their own dharma and way and my devotional spiritual practice has made all of the difference. My partner is perfect for me.

Saturn dasa now, 43, was very creative with teaching the children at work. I created bulletin boards with their photos like characters for monthly themes and the kids and parents loved it. Now everyone else is putting the kid's photos on their monthly boards! 😂

Rahu leo 1, ketu aqua 7, lord sun in 11, lord ketu 2nd, saturn dasa now also. I have always put everything into partners or making bosses happy or doing for my children and never myself. I did not get respected and have even been abused in every way. My children are really my joy. Now that I have had 3 saturn returns I am taking my path into my hands and not putting it off any longer for anyone. I have never lacked confidence but been in a position with lack because I neglected myself. Even health had suffered staying in relationships I should not have. Now I am doing wonderfully and ready. Sun and lagna lord in 7th with ketu. I'm in my forties, I've been living in solitude away from my closest relatives and friends, just so I wouldn't drown. Hello ma'am I have ketu in aquarius and Saturn (6degree) debilitated in 9th house in conjunction with venus (20 degree), sun,mars,mercury in 10th house and moon in 5th house.
