ABOUT THIS SERIES:
For centuries the nodes of the Moon 'Rahu' and 'Ketu' have baffled Vedic astrologers in terms of the results they give in their 'mahadasha' and 'antardasha'.
In fact, when it comes to analyzing their influence in a person's life from the perspective of transits, it becomes even more tricky as there doesn't really seem to be a consensus on how to look at and understand at their impact.
I have spent a lot of years reading, writing and researching on the topic of the 'nodes' and have been lucky to have received a lot of love and recognition for the same. In this series, I seek to share this knowledge with my viewers along with a very unique perspective that will not only help you understand the energy of the nodes but also how to channel that energy to fulfill your life purpose.
With each episode, we shall be studying the impact of the North node and South node of the Moon via placements in the natal chart, 'Navamsha' (D-9), 'Dashamasha'(D-10), 'Shashtiamsha' (D-60) and transits. I will expand into the other divisional charts as well but let's hope and aim to fulfill the primary objectives first.
ABOUT KETU IN SEVENTH HOUSE in birth chart
Whenever you have the South node of the Moon 'Ketu' in the seventh house of the birth chart, that shows us that one of the primary objectives of your soul in this lifetime is learning how to leverage your learnings from relationships, diplomacy, networking & career into self growth.
You know the kind of people who are pioneers in their field and lead the way into ground breaking progress?
They are often 'Ketu' in 7th house individuals.
This is one placement that can be heavily 'karmic' in terms of relationships and indicate often that the native has a natural nack but also 'karma' with leading a group(s) of people towards progress and betterment. 'Ketu' in 7th house people are meant to lead and show the way as well as take the blame if things go wrong! Therefore this placement although powerful, can be a double edged sword.

I have Ketu in the 7th, Taurus, Rohini Nakshatra. I am about to end my Ketu dasha in August. Will be 50 this September. Very true. My experience is what Jay Kaushal described. I can't depend on anyone, even family, friends and marriage; everyone of them failed on me. No one is there when I had difficult times even a shoulder to cry out. I then started from a ground zero, creating a new life. Initially, my career was up and down but the last two jobs are steady professionals. The community service and jobs have provided me the opportunities to encounter with both of genders, hence gained experiences to understand human personalities.

I have this too, I just turned 21. In my case I know I had support and good conditions early in life and I still have good support but I have a strong feeling I'll have to break away from it to get anywhere. And yet a part of me wants to be taken care of like everything I had wasn't enough. I'm also going through the Rahu Mahadasha now and I feel like I've become more selfish which sometimes I feel terrible about, I don't want to be a bad person to others and I the idea of being left all alone is scary too. But what I wanted to say is it's comforting see that others are going or have gone through the same things. Ketu is in my 7th house in Sagittarius with Venus and Mercury(Mula nakshatra).. my husband and I met when we were 17.. we have a karmic relationship that has had tumult.. but we’re pretty good now.. we’re both 41. my greatest benefic (Jupiter in exaltation) is with Ketu, in opposition with Rahu and the biggest drive in my chart (a big stelium in the 1st house), so all my life I've been feeling so dependent on other's approval. it felt as if I need to choose between me and other people, and when you don't really know yourself yet (Rahu @1st) you're naturally wired for codependency, because of fear of being inadequat. BUT now it feels so liberating to know that I need to choose myself, no matter what. and it makes perfect sense. self-betrayal is never going to work.
