Very nice LionChief Challenger, it sounds good too, congrats. Nice layout too! As far as greatest engine ever..... It's a matter of opinion. Some people like the Big Boy the best (largest steamer), others the Allegheny 2-6-6-6. Then there's the Yellowstone 2-8-8-4, PRR S-1 6-4-4-6 & PRR T-1 4-4-4-4 (both PRR locos were "streamlined") and other large locomotives. Other people like the sleek (for it's time) "Thoroughbred" 4-6-4 Hudson's. Some of those Hudson's were "streamlined" which gave them a beauty all of their own. And there are many more opinions. Then theirs Diesel....
@scotabot7826 I looking at buying a legacy one (NS) right now. It would pair nicely with my SD-60. I might buy a (second) SD-60 though because I like the paint scheme on it.
Sweet engine! Congrats on the purchase.
@@JDStucks Thanks! Super happy with it
NICE, I HAVE THE BRASS HYBRID 3834. MY VISION BIG BOY IS MY FAV THO.
Keep in mind. There were (4) steam locomotives even larger and heavier than this 'UP' one ! Any doubt, do your homework.
@@xfiles-thetruthisoutthere8038 I know there's bigger and better but I really love the Challengers
Hey everyone has different taste and is entitled to the opinion on what the best locomotive is and yes he got me called out with 4449 and 1225 lol
No doubt a nice engine. I have one, but it’s the Greyhound scheme!
@KandRCustomModels Nice! I'm looking for a Greyhound version but waiting to see if Lionel will re-run the challengers since Lionmasters back!
Nice run I enjoyed
@@OgaugeTrainsplusslotCars Thanks!

@RichardModelTrains777 absolutely! I just think it's a good hook and it's totally true... lol. But I very much love the Pennsylvania RR streamlines
Who made this model?

That is a beauty! Can't go wrong with a Challenger. Lionmaster's are great
@@seanstraindepot Oh yeah! She's great
NO! It`s the MARX 999.

Greatest of all time?? EMD SD40-2. That's a easy one.

Amazing Big Boy.
@@huntercoleman460 She's a pretty thang
It's a challenger. 4-6-6-4. A big boy has a 4-8-8-4 wheel arrangement. Close though!
Big boy is overrated. Challengers are where it’s at
@@colestrains1 Absolutely!
You're making me nervous with that screwdriver, please find something plastic!
@donpeck4347 I will! I was nervous with it too! I just don't know what to use or find.
Try a chopstick!
